We've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals over the years, and this one is easily one of our favorites.From the moment we walked in, it just felt like home. The house is beautiful, cozy, and decorated so thoughtfully. My wife kept joking that she wanted to keep the place. We'd love to come back.The location was perfect, about 20 minutes from the Shenandoah National Park entrance, so getting into the park each day was easy, but we still felt tucked away in the mountains. The Starlink Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.The kitchen was one of the best-stocked we've ever used. Every time we thought, "I wonder if they have..." they did...even chamomile tea! Everything was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and it was obvious the owners put a lot of care into making guests feel welcome.Our whole family, including our kids and dogs, had such a great time here. The movie room, ping pong table, foosball table, and fire pit were huge hits with the kids and gave us plenty to do after a day of hiking. One of our favorite parts of every evening, though, was sitting on the upper deck watching the fireflies sparkle through the trees. There were so many of them...it felt magical.Don't skip Front Royal while you're here. It's such a charming little downtown with some really great restaurants.The owners were always quick to respond and were wonderful to work with from start to finish.We'd absolutely stay here again. An easy 10/10.
