Discover this 1-bedroom cottage in Monroe. Guests enjoy a welcoming space featuring a cozy queen bed and a terrific bathroom with a refreshing walk in shower. The living kitchen combo is very comfortable and fully equipped.
The living room has a comfortable sofa with chaise lounge ( also a queen sofa bed with comfy mattress topper) and smart TV mounted on the wall.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances ( Dishwasher, Range/Oven, Microwave, Frig/Freezer and several other smaller appliances)
Fully equipped with dishes, utensils, pots/pans for cooking and coffee/tea provided.
The Cottage was built in 2026 and is 425 sf, but feels much larger with the 10ft ceilings and lots of naturel light that comes into the home. The cottage stays comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning. Whether relaxing indoors or exploring nearby, guests find this delightful retreat a perfect home base. Experience what Monroe has to offer with a stay at our cottage.

Easy walking distance to downtown Monroe for dining or take a walk to the nearby trails and Skykomish river.

When visiting the Monroe Area, once you stay at The Nest, you will want to come back and enjoy this cute little cottage.

This was a really well use of the small space it is, being an ADU. We had everything we needed and the place is very new and nice, the AC is excellent.

This new little home was built so that we have a place to stay in Monroe, in order to be able to see family/friends and mainly my Granddaughter who lives nearby.
The home was not initially built as a rental, but I saw the need for other families to be able to use it while visiting their family and enjoying Monroe.
We moved full time to Leavenworth in 2016 and own/manage vacation rentals.

I love meeting and talking with people, so hosting vacation rentals is the perfect job for me.
In my spare time, I love to hike/walk, spend time with friends, listen to local bands, garden and be outside.

I grew up in Monroe, WA for 45 years and in fact grew up on the same alley that this little home is located on. I used to play in this same vacant lot as a young kid and in 2024, the lot was bought by my daughter Hannah and her home (main home) was built. I love the cute older neighborhood and it is full of very kind neighbors.
I hope that you enjoy this little home as much as I do.

I am excited how the home turned out and it was finished April 2026.
I designed the home from start to finish and was the GC on the build of both homes on the property.
The home is filled with lots of natural light and feels much roomier than the 425sf with the 10ft high ceilings.
The cute private patio will give guests a place to enjoy being outside.
