The cottage is ideally located in the Médoc Natural Park, between the estuary ports and the ocean, in a quiet and restful area:

- 30 minutes from ocean beaches (Montalivet, Plage des Pins)

- 20 minutes from Lake Hourtin and its leisure center (water sports, hiking, cycling, horse riding)

- 10 minutes from the estuary ports as well as Saint-Estèphe and Pauillac

- 1 hour from Bordeaux, 1 hour from the bay, and 45 minutes from Verdon-sur-Mer



The accommodation is in the heart of Vertheuil, one of the prettiest villages in the Médoc. You’ll find a café-restaurant with a terrace overlooking the 12th-century Abbey park, a grocery store (with oysters from the bay on weekends), a bakery, a takeaway pizzeria, an eco-museum, and many nearby wine châteaux.
