Very happy with our five night stay in mid-May. House is strikingly beautiful inside and in backyard. Nice landscaping. Easy walking distance to the beach via the footbridge. Spacious rooms. Nice screened porch. Ample parking off street in driveway. A few restaurants within a half-mile or so. Route to downtown has good sidewalk and bike lanes. Numerous high quality restaurants in town and at Perkins Cove. Quiet neighborhood, at least while we were there. Property manager and owner were very responsive.

Perfect location. Short walk to beach. Trolley stop at end of road with access to downtown and Perkins Cove. House is gorgeous, spacious rooms with all the modern features you can imagineGrounds are beautifully landscaped.

We recently stayed at this beautiful beach house. It is spacious, beautifully decorated, well located, and has everything needed for a great stay. Unfortunately, the cleanliness upon arrival was far below what we would reasonably expect for a property at this price point.From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the cleaning had been very superficial. There was food stuck to the kitchen counters, the inside of the refrigerator was dirty, and there was even an unwrapped piece of butter left on one of the shelves. The floors were dirty, dusty, and sticky in places.In one of the bedrooms, there were yellowish stains on the bedding. Upstairs, one of the bedrooms had blood stains on a pillow, as well as suspicious brown stains on the bedspread. In the closet of another bedroom, we also found a used tissue and packaging from shirts purchased by previous guests further evidence that the cleaning had simply not been done properly.We immediately brought these issues to the attention of the local representative. He confirmed by text message that he would send the cleaning team back and that our cleaning fee would be refunded. Unfortunately, after that, he stopped responding to my messages, and no refund was ever issued.To make matters worse, the owner of the cleaning company actually told us, “It’s a beach house after all!” That is certainly not an acceptable excuse for poor hygiene, especially given the price of the rental and the cleaning fee charged to guests.
