The property was not as listed and did not appear to have been cleaned. Stated a private beach, and there was not one. The grill was disgusting and broken. The bedding was stained with what appeared to be blood and also not all bedding was present. Limited communication with the host even when engaging the management company. We were missing bedding our checkin night and did not hear back for nearly 12 hours, after needing to jury rig a sleeping arrangement for someone. Also, there was a large splatter of food or vomit on the wall from a previous guest. This entire issue showed a disregard for the property, us as the customers, and limited to no concern on resolving issues in any fashion, let alone a timely fashion.

Such an amazing spot.

We were not expecting the location to be as beautiful and peaceful as it was. Being able to sit out and overlook the lake in the evening was fantastic. The proximity to the water was awesome and there were almost no bugs to deal with the cottage is quaint and compact, but delivers on a great spot for a nice trip.

We had a nice stay. Quiet area. The spiral staircase to downstairs was a bit challenging at times. Owner stopped by to change out the propane tanks.

Great Waterfront house

The house was comfortable and adequate for our party of 6. A dock for our boat, convenience of a private launch. Levitt bay is big enough for tubing and skiing and less congested than the other bays. We had a great week at the lake.

Has potiental!

The view was beautiful and had a dock for the boat. With a propane fire pit & nice grill! The beds were AWFUL. We were better off sleeping on the floor. Lots of ants, they got in some of our food, furniture in living room is more for show- also uncomfortable. As long as you’re staying outside it’s a great stay!

Sydney, we are pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit, especially the beautiful view! That said, we apologize for any aspect of the furniture that you did not find comfortable and for the ants that you saw. While we acknowledge that beds will not suit everyone's specific preferences, we regret that ours was not comfortable for you and we shared this with the local manager. Additionally, the home will be sprayed for ants and we appreciate your feedback. We hope you will allow us the chance to provide you with a truly exceptional vacation experience in the future.

Not as described!

Property was not clean! Porches were filthy! Kitchen had little ants crawling around. Not enough seating in the living room ! The property said it fit six people and the living room had a small love seat and two chairs. It originally stated that they had an ice maker and they didn’t even have ice cube trays. The best part was the owner sat on the upstairs deck and watched our every move. They did have a nice gas grill. Decks had loose railings and the property manager finally showed up on Wednesday and told us not to lean on them. God forbid someone tripped!

Fantastic Time!

This was a great vacation - the house was clean and had everything needed for comfort. We loved swimming and kayaking in the lake as well as using the bbq and fire pit in the yard. We also went hiking on nearby trails. We will definitely return.

Wonderful vacation

Its bayside spot was perfect. Property included a smoker, BBQ grill, gas fireplace for making S'Mores, a picnic table, and a private spot for viewing the bay. House has two decks which were used for reading and enjoying the outdoors and a fully equipped kitchen and a great dining room table for dining and playing games. House is compact, but living and dining area were large enough for us all. We enjoyed the air conditioning as our time there had very warm temps. Wish we could have used the washer/dryer downstairs, but overall we had a great time. We would definitely recommend this vacation home.

Lake house

Overall a nice , clean home with comfortable beds. The kitchen is great. The living room furniture while nice to look at is not comfortable for sitting and would be better suited for a waiting room. The view is amazing and the property is well maintained.

Bayside Dreams in review

Bayside Dreams is a perfect lakeside stay. A large three bedroom house with an excellent view of the lake from the big windows in the front. There is a nice kitchen with the normal appliances. The air conditioning comes in handy on those really warm days and nights. Since we have rented the other cottages on the property, we know the amenities of the property. The main house as it is known has it’s own sitting area near the lake. There is a large grill next to the boat ramp and fire pit area as well. This property has a large private dock large enough to handle two boats about 20 feet in length. We had our 20 foot Larson powerboat and our Sunfish sailboat on the dock. There is a nice beach area with over hanging tree branches to keep you out of the sun if that is what you want. The water has a Sandy bottom and is somewhat shallow until you are quite far out. Leavitt Bay’s boating activity is usually minimal from late Sunday until late Friday. Late Friday the boating picks up and lasts until Sunday afternoon. Waterskiing and tubing are the major activities that keep the action going. So the bottom line is that this is a nicely kept house to stay in, a beautiful, quiet setting and the owner’s obviously take great pains to keep the house in great condition. We will come back again and again!

What a piece of heaven!

I loved the view, the lake the lay out of the house. It was just what we needed to get some rest and relaxation. The only thing I would recommend is that the landscaper not come while vacationers are there and if they do need to come, they should come later than 7am.
