Located in Moltrasio, Lake Como, this charming 60 sqm stone house from 1500 accommodates up to 4 guests. You will find 1 bedroom with a double bed and 1 living room featuring a double sofa bed. The fully-equipped kitchen includes modern conveniences, while amenities such as Wi-Fi, television, fan, washing machine, and clothes dryer ensure comfort during your stay. Families with children will appreciate the baby bed, high chair, and shared toys and books available.



Step outside to your private 25 sqm covered brick veranda offering spectacular lake and mountain views. This terrace provides the perfect setting for outdoor dining with your private grill, allowing you to enjoy the stunning scenery of Lake Como.



Parking is available in the street, and the property offers shared bicycle storage for your convenience. Events are not allowed on the property. The house is accessible via a scenic 5 to 7 minute walk, as vehicle access directly to the property is not possible.



The house features locally grown vegetables and fruits for your enjoyment. Self check-in is available, and public transportation is easily accessible nearby. The property's location in the first basin of Lake Como provides excellent access to Milan, Lugano, and charming lakeside villages, with the Swiss border just 3 km away. You can reach Milan in 50 minutes and enjoy numerous boat trips to destinations like Bellagio and Menaggio.

Not a better view in the world

The three story house built into the mountains overlooking Lake Como could not be more perfectly situated for a colossal view. The photos do not do the house justice and Sara made us feel welcome, in spite of our not speaking more than a few words of Italian. We loved staying in Moltrasio and at the house because it feels more rustic and relaxing than Bellagio, which we visited and once was enough. We only stayed two days and I would like to come back for a week and visit the villages in the area. In the description, potential renters are advised about the climb to the house. I would recommend that a person be in fairly good physical condition to do it. The pay off, being up so high above the lake, is worth it. This is a wonderful place to visit and relax. Highly recommend.

Accueil chaleureux, et excellent contact avec Sara. Nous avons pu découvrir et profiter de cette sublime region. La maison était très confortable, atypique, joliment décorée et avec une vue époustouflante depuis la terrasse. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Peaceful Charm Amid Amazing Beauty

Spectacular view and accommodations. Peaceful and calm. Soothing chimes from the cathedral added to the charm. We were very sad to have to go. You do need to be prepared to walk up lots of stairs with your luggage, but it's worth the effort. The 2nd floor has a family room with an open picture window, couches, and a dining area overlooking the lake. Maybe the best view in the area. Please be sure to get your food supplies before you arrive. There is a good market in Como. It was the best shower of any place we stayed - spacious with a rainfall shower head. Accommodating, friendly, and helpful host. We highly recommend this property to experience the ambiance of the area and the breathtaking view of the Como Lake area.

Amazing views!

We had a wonderful stay at the stone house! Sara was great to work with. She made sure we were prepared for our stay and arrival. The character in the house was just what I was looking for. The house was so clean and we really appreciated all the thoughtful touches Sara had in the house. There are a lot of steps to the house, but we felt it was worth it!
