For a bit of fun closer to home, take advantage of the shared pool come summer or unthaw in the hot tub to soothe sore legs after an afternoon of hiking. When mealtimes come around, the fully equipped kitchen will be the perfect place to prepare family-favorite recipes while other guests reminisce at the breakfast bar. You won't find a more central location than this. Simply walk over to the Keystone Gulch Trailhead for a morning hike or Keystone Lake Ice Rink for some winter fun for the whole family. Great rental at a good value

Had a great time snowboarding with friends and this rental was comfortable and adequately stocked for our stay. Nice location near the slopes. We would definitely return for another stay!

Ski Vacation

The place was great, only 5 min. From Keystone, 25 min from Breckenridge. Pool, sauna and hot tub were great.

Awesome Keystone Getaway

This property was perfect for our family of four to go skiing on a long weekend at Keystone. It’s incredibly close to the ski hills, so we didn’t have to get up very early to make it to the hill for first runs. The home was cozy, with a wood burning fireplace and heaters in the bathrooms. It had everything we needed to cook meals, and we enjoyed staying here while we skied as well as hanging out on a day off when the weather wasn’t great.

Great girl's trip

The property is clean and well appointed. We were unable to locate the parking pass, but thankfully had no issues from it. The unit had everything we might need and was very comfortable!

Unresponsive local property management

We had difficulty accessing the pool and hot tub. We contacted Vacasa on multiple occasions and never received a helpful response, as our interactions were with a central help desk. The local property manager never responded to answer our questions/concerns.

My family of 4 traveled to Keystone for our family vacation. We booked this property specifically because it advertised access to a community pool, and had a ground level porch we could enjoy. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we learned that the pool was closed for the entirety of our stay and that MAJOR construction was being completed for the length of our stay. At one point, our exterior windows and doors were completely covered with plastic and tape while workers painted the exterior of the building. Our condo itself was lovely and well-suited for a family but I cannot recommend booking through the property mgmt firm this unit uses—I reached out to Vacasa several times without receiving a response back until 5PM the night before we were scheduled to depart. It was very disappointing.

Unresponsive local property management

We arrived to find the property was in the midst of getting a new roof. That was not communicated, although it was ultimately not too disruptive. The more frustrating part of our experience was that the access card for the pool and hot tub did not work. We contacted the property management company several times and spoke to the help desk, but their attempt to get the local property manager to respond to this concern went unanswered. We would have selected a different property if we'd known these things.

The condominium was clean and in good condition. The only problem was with the electronic door lock. It is a model that cannot be locked when the battery dies. The physical key is only a backup for unlocking, not for locking. The battery died the second night of our stay. I sent a text message from Vacasa and didn't even get an automated response. After about 30 minutes, I called Vacasa and explained the situation. They said someone would come out to look at the lock, but didn't know when. After another hour, I looked up the lock's manual online and went the store to buy a replacement battery myself. The property is in a nice neighborhood, but I didn't want to spend the night without a locking door. It's terrible that Vacasa didn't take basic safety more seriously. I never heard anything back from Vacasa about it. No apologies, no check to see if things were okay, nothing.

Great, except for the front door that wouldn't lock

Overall, the condo was great. It was clean, comfortable, in good repair, and had a surprisingly well-furnished kitchen. The problem was with physical security. The front door uses an electronic deadbolt that cannot be locked when the battery dies. When the battery is dead, the physical key only allows the door to be unlocked -- anyone on the outside can unlock the deadbolt. When the battery died on our second night, I sent Vacasa a text message through the app. I didn't even get an automated response after half an hour, so I called the support number. They told me that they would send someone from the local team, but didn't know how long it would take. I waited another hour, didn't hear from anyone, so I bought a battery at a nearby store and replaced it myself. The condo is in a nice neighborhood, but I still didn't feel comfortable going to sleep with anyone being able to wander in. I sent a follow-up message to Vacasa and told them that I replaced the battery. I didn't hear back from anyone. No apology, no inquiry to see if we needed more help, nothing. It's shocking that Vacasa was so indifferent to a fundamental safety issue.

We enjoyed our stay

Convenient access to the outdoor pool, and this particular condo's location makes it easy to unload everything as it is close to the parking area. Only mindor downside about the Wild Irishman condos is you do have to cross west keystone road to get to the paved bike trails, but other than that we love it there!

Wonderful!

The owner has done a wonderful job: halogen lights in the kitchen, gorgeous choices of granite and great appliances; well-stocked with games (for the odd rainy day) and books for the kids (and adults), all in good working order (sometimes pristine); new wood-grained external hall door; beautiful bathroom shower, and fantastic, comfortable linens. And moose everywhere…!
