Great location for skiing and shuttle service!

Great location for skiing and shuttle service was amazing! Only complaint would be that the living area needs more seating for a family of 5 or more.

Family time

The shuttle makes this place very convenient. No car needed. Hot tubs, laundry and free shuttles makes this place a winner.

Convenient location, dated rooms

The location was great and the ski shuttle ran constantly. It was also easy to call the shuttle to go into town and not have to worry about parking. The rooms were pretty dated, especially the bathroom. Also note that this unit is directly above the parking garage, so sound machines are a must!

Great for a Getaway with Friends!

The condo was in a prime location and was easy to get to! We loved the cozy feel of the property and it worked perfectly for our getaway. Check-in was a little cumbersome and confusing but we were able to remedy the confusion quickly and get on our way. Overall, I would highly recommend this property!

The condo at Trappeurs Lodge was perfect for our group of 8. From both living and sleeping perspectives, we fit very comfortably in this space. The kitchen amenities were fantastic and allowed us to prepare full breakfasts and dinners. I have already recommended this condo to numerous friends and family members. We plan on being back in the future!

Amazing Place!

We loved this space! It was the PERFECT space for two families. The updates to the unit were nice and the bed in the master was so comfortable. The kids loved the bunk room. The amenities were great as well. The kids loved the hot tubs and pool! Steamboat has our heart. We would love to return to this unit in the future. Nice place

This condo was very clean and worked well for our family of four. Nice upgrades, although bedrooms and bathrooms a little small. There was a slight mix up before checking in, but it was resolved. We could hear the people next to us through our window when they were on their balcony, but that could happen anywhere. Overall good value

Unit had potential, but ended up being very disappointing

This unit has positive aspects to it, but there were too many negatives. We ended up disappointed in our stay. Positives: The building where this unit is located is very convenient. The advertised flat 300 yd walk to the gondola isn't accurate (maybe from the main lodge?) Trappeurs is further and it is an uphill walk. However, the shuttle is very close and runs constantly so that worked out well. The pool and hot tub are steps away. The basement laundry is free, and the garage parking is a nice plus. The layout of the unit is nice, and the kitchen is well stocked. There are wireless chargers everywhere, thermostats in every room and the wifi is very good. The fireplace was also a nice amenity. Negatives: The unit looked fine upon first glance, but as we were looking to turn on lamps, etc (because there is very little lighting - it's very dark) we discovered that everything was really dusty. There were literal cobwebs hanging from the one recessed light in the second bedroom. There was hair in some of the dresser drawers, there were little black hairs on the bedding (wondering if the previous renters had a dog and the sheets were not changed?) and the blinds, lamps, etc were all very dusty. I dropped a comb in the middle of the third bedroom floor and when I picked it up it came up with a large dust bunny. We ended up buying a box of Swiffer extra strength dusters and used almost the entire box just dusting the unit. We also vacuumed. I received a text asking about the cleanliness of the unit, and I told them about everything. They offered to send housekeeping out again, but by that time we had already dusted, so said no. Unfortunately, the unit is right above the garage door, so every time it opened it was very noisy. Not a big deal when awake, but at night it was loud enough to wake us up. The first night the carbon monoxide detector in the main bedroom when off at 4 in the morning. Luckily, I happened to have batteries but if I hadn't, don't know what we would've done. Also, the third bedroom backs to the ski lockers in the lobby, so that was also very noisy early in the morning. The shower stall in the main bedroom is graded weirdly so that the water collects almost ankle deep in the shower pan. Pretty gross, and the tiles felt slimy. There are lots of pillows in the unit, but they're either totally flat or the kind that fluffs up but flattens out when you use them, so they were very uncomfortable. This is the first time we've had issues with a unit from Vacasa, so we were very disappointed. If it hadn't been dirty the noisy aspects might not have bothered us so much, but everything all together led to very negative feelings about this stay. :-(

Perfect for two families with kids

We met another family here with kids and everyone had a great time! The condo is well stocked for families and everyone had great time. Everyone enjoyed the grounds, pool, fire area and common areas . Comfortable seating and a great table for big dinners and board games. The kitchen was great for cooking and very clean.

Great Location on the Mountain and Clean, Comfortable Stay.

Overall this condo was a great choice for our family. It was clean, had a nice kitchen space for cooking, great access to the mountain and quick drive to downtown. I will note though that summer stays will be HOT in the bunk room as there are no windows for ventilation. It never did cool down enough to comfortably sleep and our child had to sleep with us. Minor blip but worth noting if you're looking to stay during the summer.

Family friendly property

We had a fun time as a family of four with two young kids staying here. The pool/outdoor area would be nice for a bigger group, especially if staying for more than one or two nights. Very clean and the addition of a few kids toys/puzzles/books was fun for our kids.

Great Location

This condo was located close to the gondola with a shuttle bus just a few steps away. We enjoyed our own personal ski locker and the unit located on the first floor. We also enjoyed the hot tubs and the fire pit located in the common area. This was a perfect accommodation for our family of six! We hope to stay again!

Check in was easy, although I kept getting messages about the "door code" (must've been generic) when there was a key card and not a code. Only complaints were that the key cards didn't always work well (took several tries). Also, the unit was pretty warm on arrival and in the interior room at night.

Great for small groups

This place was perfect. We had a girl's weekend and the number of beds and baths was ideal. It was nice to have the bunk option, and not just all queen size beds. Kitchen was sufficient, living and dining room were nice places to gather, and the pool was nice (but small). Only "negative" was that the key cards didn't always work so well - they'd take several tries to get it just right.

Great place to stay with kiddos

Everyone had lots of room to do their thing and the kids loved the pool. The decor was lovely and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the bunk room and their own space. There was so much to do close by and the free public transit was a nice plus as well. Nice touches like kids toys and a child seat were a plus as well.
