If you fancy a day trip, the pretty town of Sassari is around 44 km away. Here you can stroll through the beautiful medieval part of the town and visit many interesting medieval buildings. You can also visit important archaeological sites, such as Monte dAccoddi and the necropolis of Montalè, in the area around Sassari.
