Mien Inselhuus, apartment 2 "Lydia" with balcony

Our beautiful, historic, renovated brick house features two bright vacation apartments, named after my grandparents, who spent a lot of time on the island. Our house is located 500 meters from the Südbadestrand beach and is still within easy reach of the island’s train station, town center, and shopping areas. We’ve renovated it with great care and hope you’ll feel right at home with us! Vacation Apartment 2 on the upper floor, “Lydia,” with a balcony, is well-suited for a couple plus one toddler (0–2 years). It features a bedroom with a 160-cm bed and a small children’s room with a 140-cm bed, plus space to set up a travel crib. It has a very bright living room with a kitchenette and a white-tiled bathroom with a shower. TV and DVD player. From the balcony, you can just make out the lighthouse! :) The apartment is cozy and practically furnished. Small but nice. The kitchen features an induction stove/oven, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, and more! The colorful island train passes right by our house. There’s a parking spot right in front of the house for our guests. P.S.: A somewhat steep staircase leads up to the apartment. For those who have difficulty walking, we would recommend our ground-floor apartment.

Additional information: A visitor’s tax applies on the island of Borkum. It’s €4.80 per day for adults. Children under 12 are exempt from the visitor’s tax.
