The beautiful and new construction sits on 11 acres on the hilltop with a million-dollar view overlooking the gorgeous Fredericksburg hills and valleys. It offers a remote location on Flying Ranch, perfect for those who need to get away from it all; however, you are only 14.5 miles from the heart of Fredericksburg.

This cabin features an inviting front and back porch to sit and relax on - the provided gas grill is perfect for warm-weather barbecues with your group. When lounging outside, you are welcome to feed the deer some corn if they show up. Inside, you will find a cozy living space with sofas, a TV with DirecTV, and an electric fireplace; a four-person dining table; and a fully appointed kitchen with all the essentials, including a full-size fridge, stove, oven, microwave, and coffee maker.

Enjoy the Crabapple Creek on Kesse Rd to sit and relax with beautiful rocks to walk and sit in the water. You're just four miles away from the old General Store/Frontier Outpost - stop by, grab a cold drink and enjoy listening to music on weekend nights.

THINGS TO KNOW
The full kitchen does not have a dishwasher.
Water conservation is encouraged as the home uses water tanks.
Hunting is prohibited on the property, as are ATVs and other off-road vehicles.
There are feeding areas for deer on the property.
Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.

Perfect anniversary get-away!

Very private location, loved the front porch and the view, relaxing in the hot tub was perfect after a long day of walking/hiking. This cabin definitely gets 5 stars from us.

We absolutely loved everything about the cabin except the fact that we booked it due to it having a hot tub in the listing photos. Upon check-in we realized the hot tub had been removed. Had we known there would not be a hot tub it would have influenced our choice in the property. Besides that, we loved everything else.

Cool cabin. Great location, close to Enchanted Rock and Fredericksburg. Nice view, private. Abundance of deer and wildlife. Good little getaway, will stay again.

We loved our stay in this little cabin! It is literally in the middle of nowhere but just a short drive to Fredericksburg and Luckenbach, which is exactly what we look for in a weekend getaway. When we checked in the AC wasn’t working. The property management team was very responsive and we worked together to come up with a resolution. The property was clean with plenty of kitchen amenities. We would definitely rent again!

Perfect place for a quiet secluded weekend getaway. Hot tub didn’t work but that wasn’t that big of a deal to us. It was nice and deer were everywhere. Not a bad drive into town to do shopping and restaurants.

Great Place

This is a great place to stay, secluded and very private. Couple of suggestions to make it even better. Turn on the hot tub a day before arrival, it took 24 hours to get it up to operating temperature. More wash clothes would be ideal, 2 for 2 people for 2 days is just not enough.

No hot tub. Awful bed.

The primary reason I chose this property was because it offered a hot tub. Once we checked in, I noticed the hot tub water was cold and not in good condition, so I called and texted the contact person, Ashley. She told me the hot tub was not working and I “should’ve been notified sooner.” She said she would be sure I got a refund. I have never received a refund, even after checking back with Ashley. As multiple reviews stated, the bed is uncomfortable because it does not have enough support under the mattress and the whole bed moves when you do - it was awful. There were nicer aspects of the cabin but these two issues prevented good rest and relaxation.

Great Stay in Fredericksburg

The cabin was just the right size for my wife and I! We received excellent service from the cabin caretaker Ashley, she was very helpful. It was a great relaxing getaway in the hill country, not to far away from the Main Street, it was about a 20 min drive to the Main Street.

Beautiful secluded property

My husband and I had a really nice, quiet 3-night stay here at the end of September. The cabin looks pretty new so it was very clean and decorated very nicely. It had pretty much everything we could need. I found the bed very comfy! We put corn out for the deer and had a few each day come by. We really loved the porches on front and back. The rocking chairs were great to sit and enjoy the peacefulness and watch the spotted burros grazing next door. The drive to town was less than 15 minutes so we had plenty of time to come back to the cabin in the heat of the day. The barn doors from the bathroom to the bedroom were a bit quirky because they didn't close good or stay open completely but they had lots of character. There were plenty of towels and hot water. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a nice getaway.
