Review of Marine TerraceThere is an excellent breathtaking view of the ocean from the living area and the deck outside. Sea otters were frequently viewed frolicking between the breakers. A pair of very friendly seagulls would hang around on the deck railing during the day begging for handouts. The rustic setting was quiet and private. The hot tub worked well and provided a nice view of the ocean. There is access to the rocky intertidal zone for occasional tide pooling, but no beach is immediately accessible. For a beach walk, you must drive about 15 minutes to Moonstone Beach, which is not within reasonable walking distance from the property.The residence is smaller than depicted in the photos. The living space is quaint and just adequate for two people. The loft is scenic, but most suited for people who are fit and accustomed to crawling into and sleeping in tight spaces. As stated, the kitchen is small, but not stocked for doing more than simple cooking. Probably best suited more for a couple planning to primarily dine at local restaurants and just snack at the residence.The host was regularly accessible and easy to work with before and during our visit. They left a nice bottle of wine to greet our arrival.Considering the available amenities, location, and size of the property, the rental price is definitely at the extreme high end and probably in excess for all that is offered compared to other nearby properties. We did enjoy our stay.
