This house and property was absolutely perfect for us and our extended family during our son’s wedding weekend. The beautiful backyard is the biggest reason we booked this house and it did not disappoint! A great gathering spot! Loved the lake deck and dock! We loved having access to the garage and appreciated all the parking spots. The home is spacious and comfortable! The house was stocked with everything we needed! We would highly recommend this lakehouse!! Thanks for a great stay!

The home is beautiful and clean inside. Has everything you would need, plenty of towels, blankets and kitchen utensils. Also had a bunch of beach chairs and yard games in the garage which is a huge plus. A number of the windows had huge spider webs in between the windows so we closed the blinds on those windows to not have to look at them. Unfortunately, the lake was very stinky and green, August is not a good time to use this lake. The steps and deck down to the lake and the kayaks would be really nice a different part of year before the lake turned green. Overall it was a very nice property in a nice location and worked great for our party of 8.

The location was excellent. Close to Lakr Michigan beaches and the sand dunes for running and hiking. We were able to use the I-96 bypass to avoid going thru Grand Haven traffic to reach our reunion venue and Spring Lake for some of our gatherings.We truly enjoyed sitting outside reading, sunning. and enjoying the wildlife: the famous Michigan "black squirrels" and the fox that traveled thru the yard on our first night. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The only issue was the one sleeping area with the two bunk beds and the sofa sleeper. We had some changes in our group. So, if our daughter's family had been able to join us it would have been difficult for basically four adults to move around in the room with the sofa sleeper in use.We would definitely consider using this lovely property again.Barb King

Good: Nice neighborhood, clean and comfortable beds, plenty of towels for large families, body wash/shampoo/conditioner in showers, plenty of beach chairs, 2 refrigerators plus a mini fridge.Bad: Day of arrival contacted by host about clogged shower drain. Spiders and webs covering entrances/exits and windows both inside and out. You couldn't open a window if you wanted to. We arrived and had to walk thru webs to get in the house. We, the guests, broomed the front and back doorways and sprayed bug spray around the perimeter of the doors on day 1. No problems after. The house was hot when we arrived (there was a heat wave and high humidity). The central AC, we were LATER told, is being replaced soon. There was a portable AC unit that had to be drained every 1.5 - 3 hours or it would stop working. The outdoor space had not been prepped for our arrival and there were spiders and webs allover ALL of the furniture. My MIL and I quickly went to work on this after addressing the 2 main entry/exit doors. After cleaning one of the sets, I was so upset that this is what we were doing on our vacation and stopped. I contacted the host about these things and she said she would have the cleaner come out the next day to address them. The next day she then messaged that the cleaner "doesn't do that". On another day, my son asked of he could use the jet tub. We filled it and turned on the jets and they spit out a bunch of black leafy material. Host was told and she said this is common!
