Hof Eckhorst, Apartment Black and White

A warm welcome to Hof Eckhorst, to our comfortable vacation apartments in the countryside. Here, at the narrowest point between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, between Schleswig and Eckernförde, between the Schlei and the Hüttener Berge Nature Park. Country charm, country life, country delights, country children, country landmarks—and our beloved countryside—show just how beautiful life in the countryside can be. The apartments are individually decorated in romantic themes: the Baltic Sea, Sunshine, Tuscany, and Black & White. Let your mind wander while enjoying a soothing bath under the starry sky in the spacious bathroom. A separate restroom and a small storage room are also provided. You’ll meet other guests in our barn hall or the fragrant wellness area with a sauna and a dream bath for two. Enjoy the summer by the lake or find peace and relaxation on the “Dreamer’s Bench” under the oak tree—listen to the rustling of the leaves, smell the plants, and watch a contented herd of mares. We look forward to welcoming you!

“Black and White”—that’s pure charm and chic. This apartment for two exudes elegance.
As you enter the apartment, the first thing you’ll notice is a tastefully designed kitchen with an integrated dining area for two.
Through a small window in the hallway, you’ll catch a glimpse of a black-tiled bathroom with white fixtures. By candlelight beneath an artificial starry sky, the two of you can enjoy your dream bath in a spacious tub. The large glass-enclosed shower is an equally appealing alternative.
The spacious living and sleeping area features black carpeting. From here, enjoy the delicate flames, whose light refracts in the mirrors.
You can write your vacation postcards at the black writing desk.
The fully equipped kitchen invites you to feast. For special meals, we’d be happy to provide you with a fondue set, a raclette set, or a wok.
Of course, an internet connection is a must here.

Vacation with your own horse, riding lessons: Whether you’d like to bring your own horse or ride one of ours—whether for riding lessons or a trail ride through the beautiful countryside—you’re very welcome here! Our equestrian facility offers: a 20 x 60-meter indoor arena, a 50 x 80-meter jumping arena, a 20 x 60-meter outdoor dressage arena, 2 lunging circles, a fenced-in galloping track, small cross-country jumps, and a water crossing. We host training courses and regular events.

Our Horse Breeding Program: At Hof Eckhorst, we love Hanoverian horses. Our year revolves around them. In the spring, the in-foal mares foal in the stables, while others are bred by the stallions either through natural mating or artificial insemination. The grazing season begins in May, and both the foals and the broodmares spend day and night in their pastures. This is also when our competition season begins. The horses that have been broken in over the winter are presented for the first time at events and competitions. This continues through September. Then the horses return to the stables. You’re welcome to experience this with us. We look forward to seeing you!

Every Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the sauna area is free of charge. We offer massages, medical foot care, nail care, and osteopathic treatments provided by certified specialists right here on-site.
