Large, cozy vacation home (94 m²) with free WiFi and terrace

Welcome to HAUS Alexandra. Our cozy vacation home is a comfortable, modernly furnished cottage idyllically situated on the outskirts of town and at the edge of the forest. It’s ideal for families with children and/or dog lovers, as it offers plenty of space in and around the house for a carefree vacation. The vacation home is located in the forest vacation village of Regen in the Bavarian Forest, in the Arber region. Our house is situated right on the edge of the village and the forest within the vacation village. It was built in the 1990s using a wood-frame construction method and was renovated and modernized in 2022. The upscale and cozy furnishings in a modern country-style create a welcoming atmosphere. Especially during the colder months, the wood-burning stove—which you can stoke yourself—provides a pleasant ambiance for cozy vacation days. The rooms are bright and feature exposed beams, which give the house its special charm. Parking is available right outside the front door. In the garden, you’ll find—brand new!!!—a barrel sauna with a large covered relaxation terrace that opens directly onto the adjacent forest. This can be used for a small fee. From the garden, you can take a direct path into the adjacent forest, whether to walk the dog or to relax in the beautiful natural surroundings. This quiet, very cozy house—located on the edge of town and the forest—has 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed. A travel crib and a separate mattress are also available. On the first floor, you’ll find a very cozy living room with a wood-burning stove you can light yourself and a fully equipped, new kitchen-diner with a dining area. Firewood is included. The spacious couch in the living room can be converted into an additional sleeping area. The entryway features a coat closet, a large hallway, a storage room, a small restroom, and the staircase. Upstairs are the two spacious bedrooms with double beds—one with access to the balcony. The bedrooms were completely renovated in 2023 and furnished with new furniture. Between the bedrooms is the large bathroom with a shower. All rooms feature exposed beams, which give the house its distinctive character. The main entrance is located right next to the house’s parking spaces. On the west side, the house has a terrace with access to the garden. There you’ll find comfortable patio furniture, a parasol, and a grill. In the garden, there is a NEW! private barrel sauna in the shape of a cube, featuring a spacious covered relaxation terrace with a view of the adjacent forest. This can only be used by guests of the Maria vacation home and the neighboring vacation home. From the gardens of the houses, you can step directly into the adjacent forest to experience the tranquility of nature, relax, go for a walk, or let the children explore the woods (collecting moss and stones, throwing pinecones, playing hide-and-seek...). For families, a high chair, a crib, and games are provided. There is also a children’s playground in the forest vacation village. For dog owners, food bowls and an additional fence to enclose the garden are available. Payment is due in advance via bank transfer. 40% due 4 weeks after booking is confirmed, 60% due 4 weeks before the start of your stay. Check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM. The keys are stored in a key safe. Flexible check-in. Sleeping spaces 5 and 6 can be set up on the sofa bed in the living room. The extra mattress can be set up as a 7th sleeping spot. A travel crib for toddlers is available. Additional options: Pets are allowed and welcome. Fee: 5 EUR per day/pet. A linens package (bed linens, bath towels, hand towels, guest towels, dish towels, dishcloths) can be booked upon request. Fee: 14 EUR per person (one-time). Sauna and relaxation area, including cleaning: Fee: 50 EUR / one-time / week. Infrared heat cabin and relaxation area: Fee 30 EUR / one-time / week. Tourist tax: Adults: 1.95 EUR per person/night. Children ages 6 and up: 1.15 EUR per person/night. Included services: Final cleaning, electricity, heat, water, Wi-Fi, parking, peace & nature.
