The apartment includes a cozy seating area on the property with a barbecue. You’re also welcome to relax by our pond. The vacation rental accommodates up to 6 people. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. Free Wi-Fi is available. Bicycle storage and a free parking space on the street in front of the house are provided. Bed linens and towels are included in the rental price. There are two bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a large double bed and a large closet (a crib is available upon request). Bedroom 2 has two single beds, closets, a dresser, a small table, and two armchairs; a crib is available upon request. Living room: a sofa that can be pulled out if needed to provide an additional sleeping space, a large closet, TV, and digital radio. The bathroom features a tub, walk-in shower, toilet, sink, washing machine, and hair dryer. Towels and bed linens are included. And should you happen to have forgotten something—such as a toothbrush or shower gel—these are also provided. A daily bread roll delivery service is available upon request. The vacation rental is located in the mountain town of Ehrenfriedersdorf, in a quiet yet central location. Everything you need for daily life—such as grocery stores, an ATM, a bakery, a doctor’s office, a pharmacy, and more—is in the immediate vicinity and can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes. Our apartment is a starting point for countless recreational and excursion opportunities, including, for example, the Waldgeisterweg trail, which leads through the Greifenstein Forest to the open-air theater, the climbing park, and the reservoir in Geyer. It’s ideal for active hikers and cyclists, but also for those seeking peace and quiet who simply want to enjoy nature. About 35 km away is the spa and winter sports town of Oberwiesenthal, which is accessible both by car and via nearby public transportation. The “secret capital” of the Ore Mountains is Annaberg-Buchholz, located only about 10 km away, which also offers numerous sights, such as St. Anne’s Church. The nearest major city is Chemnitz, which will be designated a Capital of Culture in 2025; it is only about 13 km away and easily accessible by public transportation. Seiffen, Prague, and Dresden are each 1 to 2 hours away by car.
