We love this part of New Mexico and wanted to share its quiet beauty, big skies, and peaceful desert landscape with others.

We enjoy creating a space where guests can slow down, reset, and feel at home while still having access to adventure right outside the door.

We’re local and easy to reach if you need anything during your stay, but we also respect your privacy so you can fully enjoy your time here.

We hope you love The Ponderosa as much as we do.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We chose this area because it offers something rare, true peace and space, while still being close to everyday conveniences. Surrounded by open desert and mountain views, it’s a place where you can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with nature.

We love the quiet mornings, the wide-open skies, and the sense of privacy that makes every stay feel like an escape from the busyness of life. At the same time, you’re still within a reasonable drive to local dining, shopping, and nearby attractions.

For us, it’s the perfect balance of seclusion and access, and we hope you feel that same balance during your stay at The Ponderosa.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The Ponderosa stands out because it offers a rare combination of wide-open desert beauty, mountain views, and true privacy that’s hard to find. You’re not just staying in a home, you’re stepping into a landscape of 360° views, quiet surroundings, and unforgettable night skies.

What makes it especially unique is the access to outdoor adventure right nearby. Guests can explore BLM land for off-roading, enjoy fishing or kayaking in the area, and relax in natural hot springs just a few miles away. Yet despite feeling remote and peaceful, you’re still within reach of nearby towns and essentials.

It’s a place where you can truly disconnect from noise and reconnect with nature, comfort, and stillness, all in one stay.
