This two-bedroom, two-bath home sleeps six and gives a family or two couples a full kitchen, in-home washer and dryer, and a large balcony for morning coffee, a glass of wine, and Maui sunsets. Watch for whales offshore in season, then take a refreshing dip in the shared outdoor pool or walk a few blocks to beach access. Kahana sits between Ka'anapali and Kapalua, making it easy to reach beach days, snorkeling, restaurants, and West Maui exploring without staying in the busiest part of the coast. End each day with the sound of the water and views across the channel. It is a simple, scenic choice for travelers who came to Maui to be close to the ocean.



The Space:

The oceanfront balcony is the heart of this two-bedroom, two-bath condo, with space for coffee in the morning and dinner as the sun goes down. Tropical decor, a comfortable living room with television, and a full kitchen make the indoor time easy. You will also have in-home washer and dryer for a practical reset between beach days.

Loved sunset dinners on the deck, watching turtles on the breakwall, swimming in the pool and the proximity to downtown Lahaina! Great spot to be!

Nicely situated overlooking Lanai and Molokai…very well stocked with utensils and various other necessary items. Very clean and well maintained…the management was very helpful. This would be a great location during the whale season.

Comfortable and clean condo

Perfect for our family of four and really comfortable beds. Good location but we needed to drive to beaches. Gorgeous views of rainbows and whales from the balcony!

Condo itself was great! Best view! Disappointed that the property owner did not refund the late check out fee we added on day 2, as we had to leave a day early due to a power outage for 24 hrs in West Maui. I emailed Vacasa several times & they never refunded my . Horrible company to work with!

The view, the view, the view!

Loved this condo. The view is absolutely incredible. All the amenities you need for making your own food. The location is great. There is no walkable beach out front but there is a walkable beach within a 5 minutes. However, there is multiple better beaches within a 5 minute drive.

Perfect getaway

Spent a week with my 3 adult kids and it was perfect for us. We lived on the lanai in the morning and evenings. Can’t beat the view for sunset. The carpets in the rooms could be updated/removed to match rest of the place. There is no air conditioning but with the fans we were good. Overall a great place to stay and I would come back.

Two weeks in heaven

This renovated unit was lovely and clean. The lanai sits directly on a wide view of the ocean, sea turtles, the beautiful sunsets and two islands We heard there are lots of whales breaching out of the water and hanging around in general right in front of this unit during whale season. Plus, a mother and baby dolphin came to visit while we were there A reef sits in front of the resort for snorkeling. We hope to return soon.

Maui Paradise

Our room was great! It was right on the water, beautiful sunsets and if you leave your back sliding door open, there was a great breeze running through the condo, as there is no air conditioning. We did not have a problem with that though. The accommodations were wonderful and we loved that there were beach chairs!! The only problem is that the sliding doors on the front would come off. We thought it was because of the salty air making them stick but we were able to figure that out also. Very nice place to be in Maui!

Great location and property

The positives: Great location, view and property amenities. We appreciated that the entire property, even outdoors at the pool, is non-smoking and parking was easy. The condo was comfortable, generally clean and well stocked with essential supplies and beach equipment. We appreciated having laundry facilities within the unit. The negatives: Some of the condo furnishings are in need of some TLC beyond normal cleaning between stays. The sliding doors and shutters are very difficult to slide and some of the cooking utensils need to be replaced.

Vacation

The condo at Hololani A502 was great. It was clean everything in working order and a great view of the ocean with a 3-4 minute walk to the beach . It also is about 10 minutes driving from the lahaina harbor and whalers. Village. One of the ceiling fans only worked on low speed but there were multiple box and pedestal fans that helped circulate the air. Also we just left the screen door open on the back porch and enjoyed the fresh ocean breeze and waves crashing on the shore. My family and I will be staying here again when we come back to Maui!!!

Great location and clean condo

The location is perfect. Close to Kapalua, DT Flemming and Kaanapali beach. The views are incredible, you can see and hear the humpback whales hitting their tales from your deck. The property is well maintained, BBQ and pool area were great. Highly recommend the pizza from Dollies pub. The condo was clean and well stocked with cutlery, dishes, paper towels, and laundry soap. There is no air conditioning but the cross breeze and ceiling fans kept us comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the deck which had plenty of furniture and tables. The bedroom with two beds is a bit noisy since it faces the road, just something to consider if you're a light sleeper. I would definitely stay here again.

Great View, but rooms for improvements

First of all, the view is GREAT. This unit has great view. If you need a great view over anything else, then this unit is great. Please note that this condo doesn't have AC, so it can get hot sometimes. Make sure you put their into consideration if you know what it's like to live without AC but only the ocean breeze. The unit itself can use some improvements, though. The carpet is in distress, everything else is pretty old, too. If you are not very picky and just want to wake up to a great view, then leave the condo for most of the day, then it's not an issue. The unit is pretty clean, and has most of the stuff you will need.

Lovely View - Poor Upkeep

We stayed here for one week with another couple. The view is lovely and we enjoyed watching whales, dolphins, and turtles from the balcony. The unit itself was in poor repair. The carpets are badly soiled as are the cushions on the dining chairs. The shutters in both bedrooms are off the tracks and impossible to adjust. Our friend had one of the shutters fall on his head. What would be considered the primary bedroom (ocean facing) does not have an ensuite bathroom so there is a lack of privacy. I would recommend staying at this resort as the location and pool area are great. I just would not stay at this unit.

Beautiful Views

The location of this condo is amazing, almost like you are sitting on a boat it is so close to the water. Whale watching over morning coffee and sunsets on the balcony. About 2-3 miles from Kaanapali.Decor is cute and coastal.But there are a few things you should know1. The second bedroom opens to the main outdoor walkway of the complex. If you have a child they can walk out if their room directly to the main outside hallway.2 the parking spot is like a cubby with two walls on either side and a boiler. In a small Mercedes it required a 20-point turn. A truck or big jeep would not fit.3. No AC. I think I knew this when I booked as it is common on the islands. The trade winds cool it down quickly once the lanai doors are open, but unless you keep them open while sleeping (which the bldg does not recommend), it is hot at night.Overall we had a great stay but just want others to be aware of these details don’t work for them
