Perfect location and great place to stay with family!

Such a beautiful location and perfect place for our family to spend the week. We loved the BBQ area where we spent many nights having dinner and watching the sunset. We will definitely come back!!!

Amazing Stay

Our room and property were amazing - We took my daughter and a few of her friends for a week the communication from and with the property manager and the onsite staff was impeccable. We will be back and be working with Vacation-Maui in the future!

Beautiful property right on the water

This condo was a great size and fit our family well. It is steps away from the beach and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Birthday Celebration

Everything was wonderful! Great service, clean, well appointed condo! The pool area was fantastic and we could bring our own drinks. We reserved an umbrella with chairs for one of the days and that was fantastic! We’d definitely stay there again.

The pictures are an accurate representation of the unit. It was clean. While we did not need any additional assistance the rental company was attentive and offered help should we need it. We love this resort and would stay again.

Great condo and location

This condo was perfect for our family of 4. Right on the beach, on the same strip as the Westin, Hyatt, and Sheraton. Very nice pool with towel service, covered beach chairs, hot tub, and drink station, with direct access from the pool to the beach. Great health club. Free, ample parking. Had all the advantages of the big resorts, but you get a much larger room (2 BR, 2 bath, full kitchen, large, modern washer-dryer, beach toys, cooler) for less money. Highly recommended for families.

The only problem was a meldew smell in the house. Could have been the sheets in both bedroom closet.

Maui Getaway

We had a very enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, when we went to do our first load of laundry the dryer was broken even though it was very new. Could be quite some time for it to be fixed as appliance store/warranty has to get involved.

Disappointing

We have stayed at the Alii over five times and have loved our accommodations. This year, we were very unhappy with our condo. The description of "beautiful remodel" is deceiving. The unit is outdated and in need of repairs

Great unit in our favorite Kaanapali community

Our family of 5 had a great time staying at this well-appointed condo. Although technically a 1-bedroom, there's a den setup as a 2nd bedroom that worked great, plus our son got the pull out sofa all to himself. Wonderful blend of mountain and ocean views from the 10th story balcony. Included all basic amenities including a few bonuses like a couple boogie boards. We bought a beach umbrella to use while we were there, and left it with the unit as a thank you.

Hawaii stay

The kitchen smelled of fish and one of the bathrooms smelled of sewage. We tried to communicate. Plumber couldn’t come until after we checked out. Not fun with the smells. We stayed out a lot. The drawer in kitchen needs to be replaced for silverware.

Great location

Right in the middle of Kaanapali beach. This resort is a little more low key than the others and it’s a short walk to pretty much everything in the area. The room needed some minor things fixed and the front desk didnt have our reservation. I’m guessing whalers investment didn’t let them know about my booking because another family I travelled with booked through Vrbo and a different owner and the front desk had theirs. Fortunately the front desk only needed to see my reservation email. All in all it was a good trip and the room was clean. The owner could communicate a little better

Lahaina Fires

I am a former owner @ the Alii, I knew what to expect even if Hyatt is associated with the property. However, the State of Hawaii with their rescue of Lahaina failed miserably. We never were in danger, Alii staff and folks staying there all looked out for each other. Would I come back again? ABSOLUTELY, if I had anything negative it would be the kitchen utensils, pots & pans. One should expect complete sets than what we had. If you want more detailed information please reach out to me.

Overall we had a good time. The condo is very nice. The view is stunning, while only a partial ocean view. All of the necessary amenities were supplied. The location is probably the best feature. Bars, restaurants, shopping, all walking distance. The hall bathroom shower drains slowly. The secondary bedroom mattress needs to be replaced. Its flat and feels cheap, not consistent with the experience. The pool area is great. They ask to wear a pool armband and bring a towel card, but no one asked or challenged us when we forgot. Never had a problem with parking. The bellhop was on the spot, helping with luggage and groceries. The gym is very nice, complete, clean, well equipped, better than most hotel gyms. The checkout requests were simple, just empty the trash and put dishes in dish washer. Overall we'd definitely return.
