Nestled in Chatfield, this modern cabin built in 2022 offers a cozy retreat for guests seeking comfort and charm. With three bedrooms featuring three queen beds and 1 double bed, there’s plenty of space for family and friends. One and a half bathrooms include a refreshing shower and a handy hair dryer to make mornings easier. Guests enjoy a comfortable stay year-round thanks to heating and air conditioning. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or exploring nearby, this quaint cabin provides an enjoyable home base. It’s easy to see why you’ll be able to unwind at our place. The lower level features 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own climate controlled heating and air conditioning systems. The lower level bathroom features a walk in shower, toilet and oversized vanity. The rather large space is shared with the laundry. On the main floor you will enjoy the most beautiful open concept area with hardwood floors, walls and ceilings. The massive stone fireplace from floor to ceiling is an elegant feature that will give you a great cabin feel. Surrounded by comfortable reclining couches, it is a wonderful place to snuggle up by the fire and relax, watch a movie or play some board games. The kitchen area features a full-size refrigerator with stove top oven , microwave and large island counter top to gather around for drinks and snacks. An outdoor gas grill is provided for guest to do their cooking with nature. Above the kitchen area you will access the loft by climbing the beautiful hardwood staircase. In the loft you will find two beds and a futon with a great view out the front and back of the cabin through the massive windows. Outside you may see deer, turkeys, and other wildlife. Hiking trails and fishing in the Root river are within walking distance. The city of Chatfield has places with all the necessary supplies you may have forgotten. Chatfield features some shops and restaurants on Main Street only about a mile long drive in to town from the cabin. Some other local attractions in southeast Minnesota near the Chatfield area include Niagara Cave in Harmony, historic downtown Lanesboro, Tubing and canoeing on the root river in Lanesboro, the root river bike trail, and many more. The cabin is located 20 to 25 minutes from downtown Rochester and the Mayo Clinic.
