Great Get Away

The location couldn’t have been better. Right on the beach, close to everything we needed and wanted from restaurants to stores. Great atmosphere for family. We will definitely come back to Orange Beach and hope to stay at Emerald Sky again. The price can’t be beat.

The place stinks..literally like mold and mildew. It made the bedding smell that eay too. There are water stains on dated popcorn ceiling they tried to paint over but they show thru. Several lamp shades stained. Some of the washcloths were cleaned but stained...throw them away. On the positive side...nice view. Amenities in the kitchen were fine.

We are taking these actions immediately: - Schedule a professional deep clean and mold/mildew assessment; treat any affected areas. - Remove and replace bedding and linens that retained odors; launder or replace stained washcloths. - Inspect HVAC, vents, and dehumidification to eliminate moisture sources and replace filters. - Evaluate water-stained popcorn ceiling areas, complete repairs where needed, and repaint after remediation. - Replace stained lampshades and any other unsalvageable items; restock with quality replacements. - Strengthen turnover and quality-control checks to ensure odor and cleanliness issues are caught before the next guest arrives.
