Western Liguria
Between Genoa and San Remo, north of the "Flower Riviera," lies the mountainous region of Western Liguria with the Maritime Alps.
This narrow region is characterized on the one hand by secluded mountain villages and, on the other, by beautiful beaches and charming historic old towns with numerous cultural attractions.
From both houses, far away from the tourist hustle and bustle, you have a wonderful view across the Argentina Valley and the surrounding mountain ridges.
On a clear day, your gaze glides over chestnut and fig trees all the way to the sea. Hiking, mountain biking, and trips to the beach are just as possible as day trips to nearby San Remo, Genoa, Monaco, or Nice on the Côte d’Azur.
You can do your shopping in Taggia at the supermarket, at Nanda’s in Agaggio Inferiore, or in Molini di Triora—either at the two sisters’ shop by the bridge or at Angelamaria’s adventurous herb shop, where she’ll likely invite her visitors to enjoy a glass of “snail milk.”
