Winter sports enthusiasts' hearts beat faster in this region. The Grosseck-Speiereck skiing area is only a few kilometres away from this apartment. The ski bus stops in front of the door every fifteen minutes and takes you to the family-friendly ski area in no time. In addition to the mainly blue and red slopes, there are, of course, also some challenging black slopes. Due to the high altitude of 2,400 metres, you can often ski from November to May. The areas of Katschberg-Aineck - here you will find the A1, one of the longest downhill runs in the Alps - the smaller Fanningberg and Obertauern are also easy to reach from here. Cross-country skiers among you can hit the trails right in the village.

In summer, the mountains and forests in the immediate vicinity are ideal for beautiful hikes. But golfers will also find their pleasure, only 8 km away is a well-maintained 18-hole golf course.

The centre of Mauterndorf is only a few minutes' walk away, where you will find inns, cafés, restaurants and even award-winning cuisine (Mesnerhaus). Of course there is a supermarket, bakery and butcher nearby
