The vacation rental is located in the rural village of Neuendorf on the island of Rügen, right on the waterfront. The sandy beach is only about 20 meters away, and the sea is about 300 meters away. A swimming pier and a beach chair on the beach offer wonderful opportunities for relaxing by the water. Restaurants and shopping are about one kilometer away; public transportation is also about one kilometer away. The peaceful surroundings are perfect for walks, bike rides, and a variety of activities by and on the water. A car is recommended for excursions and running errands.

The vacation apartments are located in the tranquil village of Neuendorf near Putbus, on a small, family-run vacation complex that was once a farm. Surrounding the complex, you can enjoy the natural beauty of the island of Rügen as well as views of the sea.
The heart of the property is the over 300-year-old farmhouse. The charming vacation apartments under the thatched roof are located right next to the historic, protected building in the former stables. There is also a large vacation home on the property that accommodates up to 6 people.
If you feel like taking a dip in the water, you can enjoy the luxury of the property’s own private beach access with beach sand. Feel the coastal sand beneath your feet, lean back and relax in one of the freely available beach chairs, or unwind under the old fruit trees on the large sunbathing lawn. To reach the beach access, all you need to do is cross the small village road.
For those who enjoy staying active, the surrounding area can be easily explored on foot or by bike. Forests, meadows, fields, the Baltic Sea coast, steep cliffs, and small villages all blend into the unique landscape surrounding the old fishing village of Neuendorf.
More hustle and bustle awaits you at the harbor in Lauterbach, which is just a few minutes’ walk from your vacation home. There, you can enjoy freshly caught fish at one of the restaurants. In town, you can take advantage of the numerous shopping opportunities.

Just a few kilometers further on, the cultural city of Putbus awaits you with an extensive cultural program. The former royal seat of the Prince of Putbus boasts architectural masterpieces and special events at the Orangery, the theater, or in the castle park.
Active vacationers, sports enthusiasts, culture lovers, and connoisseurs will all find plenty to enjoy on the island of Rügen. The magnificent nature and distinctive landscape offer opportunities for hiking, long bike rides, or simply relaxing. By car, you can easily visit attractions such as Cape Arkona or the chalk coast with its famous chalk cliffs. The Rasende Roland, the popular narrow-gauge railway, will gladly take you from Lauterbach or Putbus to the well-known seaside resorts of Binz, Sellin, Baabe, and Göhren. Boat excursions are also available from the Lauterbach harbor.
