Experience life in a 19th-century windmill just a few meters from the Wadden Sea on Mont Saint Michel Bay. The original architecture has been preserved during the renovation of this now national monument. Inside, the impressive fireplace and exposed beams create a warm atmosphere.
The living area is on the ground floor, a sleeping area is on the first floor, and an open mezzanine with low ceilings (about 1 meter high), which can also be used as a small reading nook, is on the second floor. The windmill stands on a 900-square-meter nature reserve. Depending on the tide, the sea can recede up to 7 km, allowing you to enjoy beautiful views of the sea, the majestic Mont Saint Michel, or the vast mudflats.
Cherrueix is a small village on the border between Brittany and Normandy, making it an ideal starting point to explore both regions.
Important: The shower and laundry room are located in the annex outside the windmill. Bed linen and towels are not provided, but can be made available for an extra charge.
