3 minutes from Dow Plaquemine, 4 from Shintech, and 8 from Sid Richardson, now branded Tokai Carbon CB.

This suite is set up for extended assignments.
Utilities, WiFi, TV, linens, cookware, and more are all handled.
Move in with your clothes and groceries and nothing else.

The kitchen is a two-burner cooktop with an undercounter refrigerator.
Everything you need to cook a real meal is here, and the dishwasher and laundry are the full-size kind.

Weekly and monthly rates are already built into the pricing, and the longer-stay discount applies automatically at checkout. If you need a longer term than the calendar allows, send a booking request and we will work with you.

Check-in is self service with your own keypad code, so arrival never has to be coordinated around a shift. The property is lit dusk to dawn, and we live on-site if you ever need anything.

Getting in: your own concrete steps with handrails lead up to your section of the covered porch. Inside, the suite is on one level with no stairs.

For your peace of mind, two exterior cameras cover the porch and the parking area out front. Shared outdoor areas only, never inside.

Beyond your suite, you have the covered porch, the grass area out back, and one parking space right in front of your door. The house at the front of the property is our family's home, so knock anytime.

This is a working extended stay property rather than a vacation rental.
Check-in is self service, the property is lit dusk to dawn, and a late arrival after a shift is never a problem. Quiet hours are 9 PM to 9 AM.

Hi, I'm Joshua.

My dad retired after a career supervising at one of the area chemical plants.
For years, out-of-town workers told him the same thing: there's nowhere quality to stay long-term in Plaquemine.

We decided to fix that. Peace of Mind Rentals was designed from the ground up for extended assignments. Every decision was made with that in mind: in-suite washer and dryer, dedicated internet, on-site management, and all-inclusive pricing.

My parents live at the front of the property, so there's always someone around.
My mom loves meeting new guests and will happily offer a glass of homemade sweet tea if you stop by. Consider yourself welcome.

My parents have lived on this property since the 1980s. I grew up here.
This isn't just a rental business. It's home.

Plaquemine sits at the heart of one of Louisiana's busiest industrial corridors.
Dow Plaquemine is three minutes away, Shintech four, and Sid Richardson, now branded Tokai Carbon CB, about eight.

When my dad started hearing the same complaint from out-of-town workers, that there was nowhere quality to stay long-term, we didn't have to look far for the answer. We already had the land. We just built something worthy of it.

The property sits on 3 acres just off Homestead Drive.
Quiet and private, but still 2 minutes from Downtown Plaquemine and close to restaurants, grocery stores, and everything else you need.
