The holiday home "House of Roses" in Como is the perfect place for a relaxing stay with your loved ones. The 110 m² property features a living room, a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, accommodating up to 5 guests. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, TV, and a washing machine. A cot is also available for an extra fee.



The house offers 2 covered private terraces and 2 balconies.



The property is just a short walk from the historic center, the Cathedral, Teatro Sociale, the harbor, as well as bars and restaurants. The funicular to Brunate is 600 m away, and Switzerland is 7 km from the house.

Thomas was a wonderful host. We had a few travel issues prior to arriving and Thomas was able to help us out tremendously, and get our vacation back on track. The location was perfect, and within walking distances from both train stations and pretty much everything. We had a wonderful stay.

Great stay- great location.

Great location near the center of Como and the Lake. Near restaurants and the things Como has to offer. Great home base for exploring the region.

We enjoyed our stay, Thomas was a great host. Needed to do some laundry but the washer was down so that was the only negative. Place is nice and location is great.

In the master bedroom, there were just sheer curtains. So at 6 am, it’s light as day. There really needs to be more coverage. Also, the master bed is awful. It’s like sleeping in a canoe. I literally dreamed of being in a boat. The pluses….great location, the host is wonderful, the shower has lots of pressure, the pillows are amazing, the views wonderful, good kitchen, lots of room, lovely balcony in the morning to have tea and coffee.

Thomas was very responsive and helpful. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants The neighborhood was close to restaurants, shops and lake.The only issues were the shower and the indoor parking was tight unless you have a very small car.

First trip to Como

This property is in a great location. It’s has pretty much all one needs. Thomas is a great host and always responds quickly. Having air con helped as it was very hot and when he is able, putting it in all the bedrooms will make it even better.

Outstanding Host

Our stay was very comfortable and convenient to the center of town, nice restaurants, plus the ferry. The apartment was as pictured, very clean and the beds very comfortable. Great Host!

Thomas was excellent in communicating with us. The location is very good, within walking distance of the lake, very close to the main church (IL Duomo). The apartment is quite spacious, with the typical classic Italian decor. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need. We even had a chance to do laundry (washing machine is available, but as in most places in Italy the clothes have to be air dried, which wasn’t a problem for us). We also ended up having a perfect parking spot for our car. There are excellent places to eat nearby. Our stay was great!
