Falcon Ridge is located in the gated community of Wild Rock, a small community of high-end homes built on large lots with fantastic privacy. You cannot see a single neighbor from any side of our home. Wild Rock features miles of hiking trails with breathtaking overviews of the New River Gorge Bridge plus a small fishing pond, all within easy walking distance of the property.

Just down the street about a half a mile is Adventures on the Gorge, the largest (and best!) outfitter for world-class whitewater rafting, rock climbing, zip lining, hiking, and more. AOTG also has several restaurants onsite (open to the public), some with great views of the gorge.

Here are other nearby attractions:

- New River Gorge National Park - 6 min drive to Canyon Rim Visitor Center (America's newest National Park!)
- Downtown Fayetteville - 8 min drive. Fayetteville was ranked America's #2 best small town to visit by Smithsonian Magazine.
- Summersville Lake State Park - 23 min drive. Famous for its crystal-clear, emerald waters and world-class rock climbing.
- Nearest small food mart - 2 min drive.
- Nearest full service grocery store - 10 min drive.
- Nearest Walmart - 11 min drive.

However, the Falcon Ridge property alone has so much to do you may just want to stay at the house! The property is laid out as follows:

Outside:

- Back patio: Hot tub, barrel sauna, covered comfortable seating in front of wood-burning fireplace (or use the propane fire table if you prefer!), bar area with outdoor TV, and cornhole.
- Deck (off living room): Outdoor dining with seating for 16, gas grill (propane provided), pizza oven
- Side yard: Geodome, custom built-in hammock, larger playset with spiral slide, small playhouse for toddlers, outdoor ping pong

*Note on Geodome- perfect for backyard camping! It is all set up with 2 cots plus sleeping bags. There is electricity via an extension cord, and a space heater is provided for chilly nights.

Inside, main level:

- Grand living room with vaulted post and beam architecture, big screen TV, gas fireplace, massive sectional, plus additional seating for 3 at console table behind couch
- Dining area with space for 10
- Fully stocked kitchen with bar seating for 4 and stainless appliances, including double oven and gas range
- BR1: Primary suite with king bed and deck access
- BR2: King bedroom
- BR3: Twin bedroom (very small room)
- Primary bathroom features double vanity and gorgeous oversized shower with multiple showerheads and 3 walls of windows looking out into the woods. *NOTE: this is the only full bathroom on this level. There is a door that can close off the hallway that contains BR1, BR3, and this bathroom. So if nobody is using BR3, this can be a true ensuite bathroom.
- Half bathroom. This is a "jack and jill" style half bath, with direct access both from the main hallway and BR2.

Inside, lower level:

- BR4: 2 king bedroom with ensuite full bathroom
- BR5: 2 queen bedroom with ensuite full bathroom
- BR6: Bunk room / game room with 2 sets of full-over-full bunk beds, pullout sofa in front of large TV, foosball table, arcade machine with several games loaded, and a climbing wall. This room can be accessed via the downstairs hallway, but also has an exterior doorway that goes out to the side yard with geodome, playsets, etc. *NOTE: there is no hall bathroom on the lower level, so whoever is staying in BR6 will need to use the ensuite bathrooms in BR4 and BR5, and/or go upstairs to use the half bath.

Other things to note:

- Falcon Ridge is pet friendly! We allow up to 4 pets with a $200 pet fee (total, not per pet or per night).
- The large driveway can fit 7-10 vehicles.
- Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and decks. 5 of the 6 bedrooms, the living room and the patio, feature smart TVs where you can access all the main streaming services. We do not subscribe to cable.
- We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options
- Linens and towels provided
- Pack n play, high chair, and kid dishes provided
- We do require a separate rental agreement, which we will send a link to e-sign after you book. There are no additional fees beyond those listed here.
