You can also easily reach numerous attractions on foot, such as the Leyhörn Nature Reserve, the Greetsiel Leysiel Lock, and the Pilsum Lighthouse. Of course, a bike tour is also a great way to explore the surrounding area. For example, you can cycle to the Norddeich Seal Sanctuary or to Germany’s tallest lighthouse in Campen within an hour. Day trips to the East Frisian islands—such as Borkum, Norderney, Langeoog, or Juist—are also highly recommended in every season.
