The Hampton Hock’s – a vacation in one of Germany’s most beautiful wine regions, in perfectly equipped Hamptons-style apartments. Lovingly selected materials in warm colors highlight the high-quality furnishings that leave nothing to be desired.

An 80-square-meter apartment that leaves nothing to be desired. A spacious and airy layout with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The open-concept living area, featuring a sofa and flat-screen TV, serves as the hub connecting all rooms. Our fully equipped kitchen, with a view of Freinsheim and the vineyards, is the perfect spot for a leisurely and relaxing vacation breakfast. Of course, all amenities—such as a dishwasher, oven, large refrigerator with freezer, Nespresso machine, and a beautiful dining area—are provided. Since you’re vacationing in a top wine region, you’ll naturally also find a decanter, wine glasses, a wine cooler, and the corresponding glasses. We provide a small starter supply of everyday essentials, such as coffee capsules, tea, milk, sugar, salt, pepper, oil & vinegar, as well as toilet paper and paper towels.
The bedroom features a very comfortable, extra-large box-spring bed, which is made up with hotel-quality bedding (oversized 155x220). The bedding is hypoallergenic and sustainably produced. Right from the comfort of your bed, you can watch movies on the large flat-screen TV with a Dolby Surround sound system. The very quiet location ensures a particularly restful night’s sleep.

The space flows seamlessly into the dressing room/office. This area is furnished with a wardrobe, another sofa with side tables, and a desk.

The bathroom isn’t just an ordinary bathroom… it’s a little oasis of well-being. The antique natural stone floor with underfloor heating is a real treat for your feet. The very spacious, floor-to-ceiling shower invites you to enjoy a moment of complete relaxation. Of course, shampoo and shower gel with a very pleasant scent are provided for you. The bathroom is completed by a small bench, a towel warmer, and a beautiful vanity with a ceramic sink and vintage-style faucet.

And now we come to another highlight of this apartment. We’re back at the heart of the apartment—the living room. From there, just a few steps take you into a small entryway with a towel warmer, wall hooks, and a shelf stocked with all kinds of sauna accessories. From there, you’ll enter your very own Finnish sauna with a view of the beautiful Palatinate region.

If that’s not enough in terms of wellness, we have another highlight in store. Put on the bathrobe and slippers we’ve provided, grab the wellness bag with the extra-large sauna towels, and head down to the first floor to enter our wonderful wellness area. Our Finnish sauna and aromatic steam room invite you to enjoy relaxing hours (even in bad weather). You’ll find two separate showers, two restrooms, a sink with drinking water, and cozy lounge chairs—the entire space is decorated in warm colors, with soft lighting, a crackling fireplace, and a comforting warmth. Here, too, we offer underfloor heating throughout the entire space—so, dear feet, you, too, can look forward to feeling right at home ;-) If you’d like to use the wellness area all to yourself, we offer a private spa for 2–4 hours at an additional charge.

Head up one flight of stairs to reach our spacious rooftop terrace with a lounge area, a bar, and a wonderful view of the historic apothecary garden.
Of course, you can also access our rooftop terrace without visiting the wellness area. The sun bathes our rooftop terrace all day long—so you can enjoy breakfast in the sunshine in the morning, sunbathe at noon, and savor a sundowner as the evening draws to a close. We’ve equipped the terrace with lounge chairs, umbrellas, tables and chairs, bar stools, and a gas grill. To create a particularly lovely evening atmosphere, there are plenty of lanterns and string lights.

Now imagine the weather isn’t cooperating… what then?
We have a very special tip just for you—a place only our guests can visit. Our 150-square-meter wine cellar experience. A historic structure, 3 meters high with a vaulted ceiling and old sandstone slabs. Here we present to you the fine wines produced around Freinsheim with love and the utmost care by local winemakers. We operate on a trust basis here, which means you simply note down the wines you taste on a list, and we’ll send you an invoice after your stay. Of course, you’re also welcome to take wines back to your apartment or even home with you when you depart.

Our property is located in a prime spot in Freinsheim, right next to the historic landmark, the EISERNES TOR (Iron Gate). Walk through the Iron Gate and you’ll find yourself on Freinsheim’s most beautiful street—Herrenstraße. It’s lined with wonderful facades, the historic town hall, and small shops. With over 20 dining options, there’s something to suit every taste and budget—from simple wine taverns and cafés to Michelin-starred gourmet restaurants. Supermarkets, bakeries (also open on Sundays), a butcher shop, a newsstand, a gas station, a pharmacy, a veterinarian’s office, and more are all within walking distance. No matter where you go, you’ll always come across historic buildings, lovingly restored facades, and Palatinate hospitality.
