Travel Guide & Directions

After you book, you’ll immediately receive a booking confirmation that includes a link to our digital travel guide. This guide not only provides all the important information about your stay but also includes personal recommendations from us. There you’ll find tips on restaurants, hiking trails, and recreational activities, as well as many other useful suggestions to help you make the most of your stay with us.

No later than three days before your arrival, you’ll receive a personalized code from us for self-check-in via smart lock. This allows you flexible and hassle-free access to your vacation home.

Town:

Hohenfels-Essingen has a population of about 350 and offers excellent access to the A1 and A48 highways, as well as being just a short drive from the towns of Daun and Gerolstein. The vacation home is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of town, surrounded by forest and nature.
House Rules:

1. Inventory and Damage

We ask that you treat our inventory with care and return used dishes to the cabinets only when they are clean and dry. Damage to furniture and furnishings can occur and is often easily repaired. Please inform us immediately of any damage that occurs.

2. Noise Levels and Quiet Hours

Please be considerate of our neighbors and keep noise levels in the vacation home at a reasonable volume, especially when playing music or watching TV. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.

3. Visitors

Your visitors are welcome in our vacation rental at any time for short stays. However, it is not permitted to allow unregistered guests to stay overnight in the vacation rental. If the number of guests changes, please inform us in a timely manner so that we can prepare the vacation rental accordingly.

4. Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire vacation rental.
Smoking is only permitted in fully open outdoor areas. Please keep doors and windows closed to prevent smoke from entering the house.
If a smoke odor does develop in the vacation rental, we will have to charge you for the resulting special cleaning costs (e.g., ozone treatment).

5. Pets

Pets are welcome in our vacation home. The number is limited to a maximum of 2. Please note, however, that you must report any damage caused by your pet to us.
