The interior of the home is a place of pure peace with its gleaming wood floors, high ceilings, and comfortable furnishings. Hang out with your favorite people in the light-filled living room, complete with ample seating, a gas fireplace, and a large TV. Steps away, the well-equipped kitchen makes cooking a breeze with its plentiful meal prep space, many nifty gadgets, and a full suite of appliances. Great view and location

Spacious house with all the amenities we needed for two families. It was the perfect homebase to unwind after a day of exploring the island. Conveniently located close to penn cove and Captain Whidbey Inn. Would definitely stay again if traveling with another family.

Beat the Heat Retreat!

Beautiful view over bay, spacious, had lots of amenities. Quiet neighborhood tucked between Coupeville and Oak Harbor Bring your own games. Mother in law suite perfect for grandparents (in our case) to have separation time. Would stay again!

Great location for enjoying Whidbey Island. Centrally located on the island.

Large, comfortable home with lovely furnishings, easily accommodating 9 people. Beautiful setting with wildlife viewing opportunities. Close to shore access. Quiet neighborhood in private setting and great views of area. Overall it exceeded our expectations. There was Initial difficulty with lock access codes, but eventually this was resolved by Vacasa guest services.

Great property. Very clean. Centrally located on Whidbey Island. Good furnishings and appliances. Lots of room for 9 people. Fun yard with somewhat overgrown scrubs, but lots of wildlife including rabbits, birds and deer. Main house stairs are challenging for older folk, but doable. Front door codes were inaccurate and required contact with property manager to gain access. Overall a great property to enjoy a visit to the island.

Door lock didn’t work

The door lock combo that was given for our stay didn’t work, and the property manager was not able to help us with it. We finally found a patio door that cannot be locked to go into the house. All the property manager asked was whether or not the house had a lock safe for our personal belongings and did not provide us with any updated solutions to the problem. We had to haul a lot of our things between the two days we stayed there to ensure that nothing gets stolen.

Lock is broken

When we arrived, the screen door is broken and the smart lock behind it didn’t work to unlock the door. We tried some other doors and found an unlocked patio door in the back. I called Vacasa and they troubleshooted a few things but they didn’t work. They said a local operator would contact me to fix it. The local operator sent a text saying someone would be out to fix it but I never heard from her again. I didn’t like having to leave my stuff unsecured anytime I wanted to leave the house. Property was clean enough but bathrooms are pretty worn down.
