Loved our stay at Shawnee Hills Cottage! The house was spotless and in a great location — quiet, but within walking distance of restaurants, coffee, and amazing ice cream! The Mexican restaurant just a two-minute walk away was awesome too. We especially loved the private reservoir access, kayaks, fishing, paddle boards, hot tub, and fire pit. It felt like a little getaway while still being close to everything. The Columbus Zoo & Aquarium and Zoombezi Bay were just minutes away, and Bridge Park was only about a five-minute drive. Looking forward to staying again during Boo at the Zoo!

Great place - fun, comfortable, quick access to everything, and a secluded woodsy backyard where we saw deer every day :) Friendly flexible host that accomidated us every step of the way. Hot tub works great and was already warm when we arrived, the fire pit was so fun for our kids, and the massage chair was crazy. Also deck to eat breakfast and it was so close to the zoo that we heard the wolves howling each night for about 20 min. We went to the zoo during our stay and confirmed with a worker that it was the wolves we heard! Amazingly good time. Highest rating imaginable.

Did not know this was a first time rental for the location. We found several issues that we relayed to the host. He was excellent in communicating back to me. Very quiet neighborhood with deer in the back yard. Only 5 minutes from the Columbus zoo which was very convenient.

Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry the arrival lighting wasn’t ideal and that the switches weren’t clearly labeled. Since your visit, we’ve added dusk-to-dawn bulbs and labeled the switches to make things easier for future guests. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay, the quiet neighborhood, the deer, and being close to the Columbus Zoo. We look forward to your return!

The property is in a very quaint and quiet area. We were able to walk to the brewery which was great! Our group of 5 enjoyed the hot tub and massage chair. Andy was very enjoyable to work with. He was quick to respond to any inquiries and offered suggestions for the area. We stayed in October and it was chilly out, but this house would be awesome to stay at in the late spring, summer, or earlier fall. You could enjoy all the amenities the house has to offer with paddle boards and kayaks and the super easy walkable path to the water. We will try to come back again!
