The luxury holiday apartment Backbord awaits our guests in the Baltic Sea resort of California directly on the white sandy beach with a view of the open Baltic Sea and Kiel Fjord. With attention to detail and modern charm, this 120m2 luxury holiday apartment is a guarantee for relaxation and the perfect vacation by the sea; you can enjoy this panoramic location from sunrise to sunset, whether indoors or outdoors.

The entrance area in the basement leads to the lower level of the apartment, where the 3 bedrooms (equipped with high-quality double beds), two bathrooms (one en suite) and the sauna are located. The bathrooms are equipped with a double washbasin, bidet, rain shower and WC

The large, elegant staircase takes you to the upper area of the apartment. Here, in addition to a separate guest WC, you will find the large and bright living and kitchen area. The fully equipped kitchen with cooking island offers you complete cooking enjoyment. You can even enjoy the view of the Baltic Sea from here. The integrated open dining area not only invites you to eat, but also offers you a wonderful place for games evenings with the whole family.

The living area with a cozy sofa area and a free-standing TV set invites you to spend cozy hours in front of the gas fireplace, which gives you cozy warmth at the touch of a button. From the kitchen area, but also from the living area, you can access the balconies, which of course offer a view of the Baltic Sea. From here you can enjoy the full view of the sea and you can enjoy the sunset, whether inside or on the balcony.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, Blick auf den Deich und die See

Pros: Ruhige Lage. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war sehr gut. Es war alles da, was gebraucht wurde. Auch die Küchenutensilien waren komplett. Kurzläufig sind Bäcker und Supermarkt zu erreichen. Sehr nette Vermieter, die auch gerne weiterhelfen. Cons: Die Schlafzimmer und Bäder waren unten, wer nicht gut Treppen gehen kann (ev. Knieprobleme) sollte das bedenken. Einen Grundriss (Foto) hatten wir nicht gefunden . Ein Badezimmer hatte einen Duschvorhang, dieser passte in Farbe und Stil so gar nicht in diese moderne Wohnung. Das Badezimmer war deswegen nicht so schön. Wir würden wieder buchen, aber die obere Wohnung buchen, da diese von der Aussicht und Aussensitzplätzen noch schöner ist.

Pros: Haus liegt direkt hinterm Deich mit tollem Blick auf das Meer und nur ca. 100 Meter vom Strand entfernt.

Das Haus ist noch sehr jung und daher top gepflegt.

Pros: Das Haus hat eine großzugige Raumaufteilung. Der Blick aufs Wasser ist klasse. Cons: Das große Messerset sollte, mit einer besseren Qualität, erneuert werden. (Griffe teilweise defekt) Zu der Ferienwohnung gehört nur ein PKW-Stellplatz, bei einer möglichen Belegung mit 6 Personen reicht das in der Hochsaison nicht aus.

Pros: Sehr schöne, geschmackvoll eingerichtete und sehr saubere Ferienwohnung mit toller Aussicht auf die Ostsee. Große Schlafzimmer und zwei große Bäder. Auch wenn Handtücher und Bettwäsche selbst mitgebracht werden müssen kann man alternativ einen Wäscheservice vor Ort gegen Bezahlung in Anspruch nehmen, das hat wunderbar geklappt. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und würden bei unserem nächsten Urlaub an der Ostsee sicher wieder die gleiche Wahl treffen.

Pros: Wer die Wahl hat, sollte unserer Meinung nach unbedingt die ein Stockwerk höher gelegene Wohnung "Steuerbord" buchen. Sie bietet bei gleicher Quadratmeterzahl und (im August2022) gleicher Miete einen weitaus schöneren Blick und vor allem eine Dachterrasse mit Sonnenliegen. Die tiefer gelegene Wohnung "Backbord" hat zwar ein Schlafzimmer mehr, allerdings sind 3 der 4 Zimmer der Wohnung im Souterrain gelegen. Die Preisgestaltung ist für uns nicht nachvollziehbar. Ein Bettwäsche- und Handtuchservice, der nach unserer Erfahrung in dieser Preisklasse selbstverständlich ist, wurde zu unserem Reisezeitpunkt in keiner der beiden Wohnungen angeboten.
