Stay close to Acadia while enjoying the convenience of walking to downtown Ellsworth. Acadia Base Camp South is a newly finished luxury one-bedroom apartment featuring a comfortable king-size bed, full kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, heat and air conditioning, and all the comforts of home.

The approximately 700-square-foot apartment features a comfortable living area with a loveseat and 65-inch TV. The fully equipped kitchen includes custom cabinetry, granite countertops, an induction range, dishwasher, farm-style sink, cookware, dishes, glasses, and silverware.

The bathroom features a beautiful glass corner shower and marble-top vanity, while the in-unit washer and dryer make longer stays especially convenient.

Walk approximately 10 minutes to downtown Ellsworth restaurants, taverns, cafés, and shops, then enjoy an easy drive of about 25 minutes to Acadia National Park.

Acadia Base Camp South is an excellent choice for couples visiting the Maine coast as well as business travelers, traveling professionals, contractors, and guests working temporarily in the Ellsworth or Hancock County area. This place is the best place I've stayed in on VRBO. It was cozy and comfortable with a host that immediately replied to a question we had. It was extremely quiet and a relaxing place to stay when we had one rainy day. Would definitely come back.

We loved our stay. It was a great location for our trip to Acadia National Park. The unit was comfortable, met our needs and better than expected. There are also several food options near by. Rob had great communication and check in was a breeze. Definitely recommend staying here and we would definitely stay here again!

Great unit. Communication was great. Everything was clean and easy to locate. Great central location to Acadia and Bar Harbor without the Bar Harbor price tag. I would definitely stay here again!

My name is Rob and I was born and raised right here it Ellsworth Maine. 43 years ago when I was 17 I started working in Bar Harbor and have been a member of Kebo Valley Country club since I was 13 years old. I play as much golf as I can add each year it seems my handicap keeps getting a little higher. I have two sons who live here locally one is just finishing high school and the other is a commercial lobster fisherman and a linemen. I built the two rentals for residual income and to be able to pass them on the my sons in the future. I hope you enjoy your stay! Rob
