great holidays in October

We were lucky with beautiful October weather! The nights were cold (6 degrees), but the days were sunny and 20 degrees. We could even swim in the pool! The house is great! It was comfortably heated and very generous in space. It has been stylishly and carefully renovated. With a total of 4 bathrooms/toilets we felt extremely privileged. The two hostladies were kind and helpful. We went cycling in the hilly surroundings, enjoyed wine tasting sessions, strolled through pretty little towns (Albugnano), visited the truffle festival in Alba, the trobbing city Torino and the more relaxed one of Asti. A car is thus an absolute must have if you want to enjoy a bit more than just the house. Before you come to the house, drive to the big supermarket of Castelnuovo don Bosco and buy goods for the kitchen since there's nothing available in the house: soap, sponge, oil, salt, spices ... We will dearly remember these wonderful holidays for a long time!

Relaxter Familienurlaub

Mein Bruder mit Familie und meine Familie hatten sehr entspannte Urlaubstage in diesem schönen Haus. Es ist sehr persönlich & geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet viel Platz. Der Pool ist auch super, es sind ausreichend Liegen und große Sonnenschirme vorhanden. Was leider fehlt, ist eine Dusche am Pool. Die Lage vom Haus ist top, schöne Städtchen und ein großer Supermarkt sind schnell erreichbar. Von der Verwalterin Maura wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und wieder verabschiedet. Auch während unseres Aufenthaltes hat sie Fragen schnell per WhatsApp beantwortet. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür! Wir kommen wieder …

Gut geeignet für erweiterten Familienkreis

Viel Platz im und außerhalb des Hauses, schöner Pool, Anlage gut gepflegt. Einrichtung rustikal und an sich hübsch anzusehen. leider rochen die Schränke etwas muffig, sodass wir unsere Kleidung nicht reingelegt haben. Ausstattung der Küche könnte etwas besser sein, Töpfe/Pfannen ziemlich einfach, Schneidebretter haben wir selbst gekauft. Allerdings Besteck und Geschirr sehr zahlreich vorhanden. Wir hatten tolle 14 Tage fast ausschließlich - wie geplant - innerhalb des Objektes.

Jedes Zimmer war liebevoll abe...

Jedes Zimmer war liebevoll aber auch zweckgünstig eingerichtet. Die Aussenanlagen (Pool-Terrassen - u.a.) wurden ständig gepflegt. Die Schlüsselverwalter (Hausmeisterehepaar) haben sich sehr um uns gekümmert. Alles in Allem eine gelungene Urlaubswoche. Super!!! Reisetipps: Nette Restorants in Castelnuovo del Don Bosco. 5 km. Großer Supermarkt auch Sa. u. So. geöffnet ca. 5 km

Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, persönlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Grundstück ist sehr weitläufig und der Pool für ein Privathaus riesig, schön angelegt und ebenfalls sehr gepflegt. Sehr viele Wespen und Bienen am Pool!! Die Hausverwalterin ist sehr freundlich, spricht allerdings ausschließlich italienisch.Das Grundstück ist grundsätzlich auch mit Hund super geeignet, da es vollständig umzäunt ist. Allerdings muss man wissen, dass der Gärtner nahezu täglich unangekündigt und auch abends teilweise im Dunkeln durch ein abgelegenes Gartentor zum Gießen kommt.Da das Grundstück von der Terrasse aus zu einem großen Teil nicht einsehbar ist, fanden wir persönlich es doch unangenehm, dass plötzlich jemand im Grundstück u. in der Dunkelheit auftauchte. Vor allem wenn man mit einem Hund anreist, sollte man dies wissen. Wir haben unseren Hund (ein eigentlich sanfter Golden Retriever) in den letzten Tagen in den Abendstunden am Haus angeleint, da er zusehends ärgerlich auf die "Überraschungsbesuche" reagierte u bellend davonstürmte. Besser wäre es, es gäbe eine feste Uhrzeit, in der der Gärtner vor Ort ist. Ansonsten haben wir uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Reisetipps: Sehr sehenswert fanden wir Alba (ca. 1 Stunde) und Turin (ca. 45 min.), sowie natürlich die Weinorte und –Güter im Umland von Alba.Nächster Supermarkt ca. 5 km.

Wir waren mit unseren Töchtern...

Wir waren mit unseren Töchtern, Schwiegersohn und Enkelkindern da. Sehr schönes Haus/Anwesen. Wir waren voll zufrieden. Einziger Mangel: Viele Mücken. Unbedingt was zum Einreiben mitnehmen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und nett. Reisetipps: Schule und Basilica sowie Geburtshaus von Don Bosco ist sehenswert (ganz in der Nähe). Asti war auch sehr schön.Der nächste Supermarkt ist 5 km entfernt (Auf dem Weg dahin kommt man bei Don Bosco vorbei) und gut sortiert.

Sauber, tolle Möglichkeiten draussen wie drinnen. Toller Garten und Beschäfigungsmöglichkeiten (Volleyball, Tischtennis, Sonnenbad, Grillen oder toller Swimmingpool). Ideal für Großfamilie oder 2 oder 3 Kleinfamilien.
