We look forward to welcoming you soon! Welcome to our lovingly renovated vacation home “Lieblingsplatz,” your perfect retreat in the small historic town of Monheim in Bavaria. Monheim is centrally located between Nuremberg, Augsburg, and Ingolstadt, conveniently situated right on the B2. The Altmühltal Nature Park, the Franconian Lake District, and the Donau-Ries vacation region surround this small town. Our vacation home in the Monheim Alb is located just a few kilometers from the “Dreiländereck” (the tri-state area of Swabia, Upper Bavaria, and Middle Franconia) and serves as an excellent starting point for countless excursions, long hikes, Nordic walking, and bike tours on the numerous well-maintained bike paths. Monheim also offers a nostalgic outdoor pool in the summer and, during the fall and winter months, a new, modern indoor pool with wellness facilities and a children’s pool. Shopping options, such as supermarkets and a drugstore, as well as a snack bar, are located in the immediate vicinity and are easily accessible on foot. You can also get fresh rolls and pretzels on Sundays at the adjacent gas station or at bakeries located 1 km away. The town also features a restaurant, pizzerias, and bars, as well as a cozy beer garden and an ice cream parlor during the summer months. The nearest train station, Otting–Weilheim, is 9 km away. A 50% prepayment is charged upon booking. The remaining balance is due in cash upon arrival. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in a timely manner to arrange any necessary details. Keys will be handed over in person on site. A crib and high chair are provided free of charge upon request. Pets are allowed for 10 euros per day.
