We were surprised to learn the owners live in the bottom floor of the home. This ended up not making any difference, we could not see or hear them, but it was not disclosed. The home was spacious and tidy and we appreciated having a washing machine and dishwasher. The showers were lacking. In one bathroom the wand that was with the tub did not have a holder on the wall and there wasn’t a shower curtain. In the other bathroom the shower wand holder was floppy. We did not disclose this when we were there, so to be fair I did not give them the opportunity to fix them. It just felt very authentic for a European home, not what Americans are accustomed to at home. Our host had a few necessities in the refrigerator for us, including some beer and wine, and even delivered a homemade cheese pie one day! We loved being able to walk into town or the beach. We did rent scooters for a couple of days, but never needed a rental car. We were a party of five and had plenty of room. It was a fabulous week!
