Kitchen setup was excellent. Lots of comfortable space to sit and view the beautiful lake. We still managed to swim every day in the cold water. So refreshing.

A Family Get Together

Elmwood is pleasant inside and magnificent outside. We liked the cozy feeling of the interior and especially enjoyed the sun room and the well equipped kitchen. The expansive yard, shade providing trees, picnic tables and chairs and dock area are wonderful.Warren and Katherine were quick to answer questions and situations that occurred during our visit. Thank you for that!

The kitchen was amazing. The property was amazing. Very clean and neat. Decorated so nicely. The view was phenomenal. I just wish we had known they used laundry soap and fabric soften that wasn't skin and allergy friendly. That wasn't good for my one sister and I as we both have super sensitive skin and ended up with rashes. And the scent was horrible for our allergies. And the beds could have been a bit on the softer side, but all in all, it is an amazing place. We hope to be able to come back again.

Loved our week here!

Lovely place on the lake. Very special cottage and lot on the point. The yard is like a park, with large shade trees and level entry to the lake. We loved the cottage, sleeping with the windows open, the cleanliness, the screened in porch, and great kitchen. Great swimming and fishing area. We have been home a week and my wife still misses this place. We will look to book again. The owners are great!

Amazing Lakefront Getaway

This was an amazing vacation getaway for a group of 9 adults. One of the best things about this house is the location - it's right on the lake and has a large beautiful yard to BBQ and play outdoor games. The screened in porch was so great for sipping morning coffee and enjoying the view. Kathy was a fantastic host!! So accommodating and easy to get in touch with. I'd rent this house again in a heartbeat!!

Willow Grove Paradise

Lovely, well equipped house..a delightful blend of old fashioned and modern. The updated kitchen area has been beautifully, functionally, and efficiently completed since our last stay. The out of doors area has to be about the best on Keuka...perfection! Thank you Kathy and Warren for sharing Elmwood with our ten member adult family. We hope to return.

Back at Willow Grove :)

Our family had a cottage two doors down from The Elmwood for over 60 years. It is out of our family now but how wonderful to find that we could rent The Elmwood and relive those happy extended summer memories! Room for everyone and endless outside space, well-appointed kitchen, laundry! Can’t say enough good things. Thank you!

What a perfect place!

This beautiful, classic Keuka cottage hit fulfilled all of our needs. The location was perfect and conveniently close to Penn Yan. The bedrooms were lovely and very comfortable. With the windows open at night we were lulled to sleep by the sounds of the waves and the nice breeze. Very expansive beach area with plenty of seating. The owners are very accommodating and helpful but not intrusive. We enjoyed our week so much, we have already made plans to return to the next spot next year! Thank you so much!

Great weekend

We rented over memorial day weekend. There was a storm week before and the owners were very accommodating even offering to let us cancel without penalties. I'm so glad we didn't as we had a great weekend. The house had everything we needed to cook and the outdoor area was amazing we fished, played lawn games,used the kayak and paddle boat, relaxed in hammock and capped off the night with campfire. The house is also very close to vineyards and a brewery. Can't wait to rent again. Thanks for everything!

4 Generation Family Vacation

For starters Warren and Kathleen gave us a very warm welcome! The location is fantastic, couldn't imagine finding anywhere better. Even though it is located in a highly populated area this place is very private! We had 10 adults and space/sleeping accomodations were not an issue whatsoever! The screened-in porch was a favorite spot by many in the evening until the bonfires on the beach were lit. The beach frontage was awesome along with the two docks that seen lots of use. The shady lawn with beautiful very large trees made for some fun yard games for all. The kitchen was well furnished with everything needed to prepare all meals we cooked. The bathrooms were well stocked with linens for all. Several people caught nice fish right off the docks. We all enjoyed swimming as well! Thanks Warren and Kathleen for a great experience! We highly recommend others to enjoy this wonderful place.

You'll Have No Secrets In This House

The owner and brother recently redid major portions of this home. The kitchen is the jewel of the remodel. I can't confirm this, but I believe Warren's wife Cathy was likely responsible for many of the touches of the kitchen. It is bright, full of brand new appliances (June 2022) and exceptionally well stocked. The kitchen windows look out over the creek, woods, and lake all at once. It is a great space to be in. The downstairs bathroom is a testament to space efficiency with washer / dryer full shower, commode, and sink and some storage all in this small space, but not so small as to not be able to move around comfortably. All brand new as of June 2022 when we stayed. Or at least it appeared so. The house has some new fangled sonic pest controller in several rooms around the house and outside on the porch. I saw some small spiders once or twice during our week, but overall no pests to be seen or heard. The bedrooms are comfortable and warm to walk into. Again, they really have taken advantage of every ounce of space, and as my title indicates if you want secrets you better whisper in someone's ear otherwise you will be heard. I love the cottage feeling so it was no bother to me or my family. Two docks, and wonderful grounds to walk through. There is a lot of space for a rental property on a finger lake. Our weather didn't cooperate as much as we would have liked, but we still enjoyed our stay. The small little area of houses where this is located is idyllic. Everyone maintains their property and they are so neat and tidy. It is a beautiful spot to stay. Penn Yan has everything you might need or want during your stay and is about 4 or 5 minutes up the road. I can keep going on, but no one is going to want to keep reading so I'll wind up by saying that I highly recommend this property and their owners.

Elmwood is a beautiful and peaceful Keuka experience

This past month my siblings and I treated our parents to a week of family togetherness reliving memories of Willow Grove and Keuka Lake. Upon our return home I received a card that read in part "Last week at the lake was even more wonderful than I had imagined through the year. What a blessing Elmwood was and is. Such a peaceful, beautiful place on Keuka." Kathy & Warren have thought of everything, and most things twice. Bring your toothbrush and a bag of groceries - nearly everything else is provided.

Great location

Everything was so clean and organized. The location was perfect. The people were very nice. They had a paddle boat that was so much fun for everyone to use. In the back of the house, there was a screened-in porch that was amazing to be in at all times of the day. The only problem was the full-size beds should be queens, but they make that clear. If there were queen-size beds, the place would be 5 stars for me. You cannot beat their kitchen and gathering areas. Fantastic for family to enjoy time together.

Beautiful property with large side yard two docks screened porch four bedrooms two full baths clean and nicely furnished. Brand new kitchen and appliances. Just bring your food and a pillow everything else is there!
