Start your day with breakfast on the south-facing terrace, relax in a beach chair in the afternoon, and enjoy your own sauna in the evening: The “Wiedehopf 03” house offers the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway on Rügen’s south coast. This modern half of a vacation home is located in the vacation village of Klein Stresow, near the Greifswald Bodden and about 600 meters from a natural beach.

Built in 2021, the house covers 61 m² and is designed to accommodate up to four people. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open-concept living area are arranged in a well-thought-out floor plan. The vacation home is therefore ideal for families as well as for couples or friends who are traveling together but still value separate sleeping arrangements.

Inside, clean lines meet an elegant Nordic design. Furniture, lamps, and artwork have been carefully selected to create a harmonious overall look. The decor feels modern without sacrificing coziness. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the living area with natural light, and the view opens up toward the garden and terrace.

The living and dining room form the central hub of the house. After an outing around the island, the sofa with ottoman invites you to relax. A fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere, especially on cooler days and evenings. The space also features a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi.

The dining table with four chairs is the perfect spot for shared meals, game nights, or planning the next day’s vacation activities. The adjacent open kitchen is modern and equipped with high-quality appliances. The cabinets contain a complete set of dishes. A dishwasher takes care of the dishes afterward.

From the living area, floor-to-ceiling windows lead directly onto the south-facing terrace. Here, you can start your day with fresh air and sunshine. During the summer months, a beach chair and a lounger are also available. This means the terrace offers various ways to relax outdoors—from breakfast in the morning to a quiet break in the afternoon. Garden furniture and a private garden complete the outdoor area.

The sleeping arrangements are spread across two separate bedrooms. One of them is furnished with a double box-spring bed measuring 1.80 × 2.10 meters. The second bedroom features two single box-spring beds, each measuring 90 × 200 centimeters. This layout is particularly convenient for parents with children or for guests who prefer to sleep separately. Both bedrooms have a closet and their own flat-screen TV.

Two bathrooms with showers and toilets provide ample space even when the cottage is occupied by four people and make it easy to start the day. The ground-floor bathroom also features a private Finnish sauna. After a hike, a bike ride, or a trip out on the water, you can relax here undisturbed.

Upon arrival, the beds are already made and towels are provided for guests. For laundry during your stay, a washing machine and dryer are available for shared use in the main house. Both machines are coin-operated and are not located directly inside the vacation home. This setup is especially convenient for longer stays or after active days at the beach and in nature.

The house is located in the water-rich landscape near Klein Stresow. The Greifswald Bodden is in the immediate vicinity and provides the perfect setting for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway. The surrounding area is ideal for bike rides, kayaking, and SUP excursions, among other activities.

A natural beach is about 600 meters from the vacation village and can be reached on foot. A handcart is available for transporting beach gear. After spending time by the water, the path leads back to your own garden, the south-facing terrace, or straight to the sauna.

Access to the vacation village is via an unpaved, natural road. Vehicles may only travel at walking speed on this road. A reserved parking space is available free of charge for your vehicle at the vacation home.

If you’re arriving in an electric car, you can use one of the vacation village’s three shared charging stations. The charging stations are available to all vacation guests and may need to be shared. Use is subject to a fee based on the length of stay. A car charging cable is not provided and must be brought along.

Travel by train is also possible. From the Putbus train station, a shuttle to the vacation village can be arranged for a small fee. This way, you can cover the last few kilometers to your accommodations even without your own vehicle.

For breakfast, a quick break, or regional souvenirs, Café Klein Stresow with its farm shop is located right in the vacation village. It offers hot and cold beverages, fresh rolls, light meals and snacks, homemade cake, ice cream, specialty coffees, and regional products.

The vacation village celebrates New Year’s Eve without fireworks. Guests who wish to spend New Year’s Eve in a peaceful setting will find the perfect conditions here.
