Perfect getaway

My son and I stayed in C709 in June. It was clean and beautifully decorated, so I chose it again for our mini fall break getaway. I appreciated being able to rent the unit for only a few days as we were unable to get away for a full week. We look forward to staying in the future!

July Beach Excursion

The condo is located in a prime area, close enough to the Gulf Shores center of attractions and restaurants, yet far enough from the public beaches to fully enjoy the coastal surroundings at a leisurely pace. We enjoyed morning coffee from the 7th floor overlooking the entire coastline and watching dolphins play. The beds were comfortable even the pullout couch. All appliances worked and the AC felt wonderful after being out in the sun all day. The Beach Club offers something for everyone and is great for keeping kids active, along with plenty of food options on site.

TLC NEEDED

We have stayed at the beach club multiple times and love the resort.This particular condo needs some love. There was a hole in the bedroom wall that was mentioned in a past review still not repaired, baseboard trim was damaged in the master bath. The bathtub has rust stains and a terrible shower head. The refrigerator took a entire day to get cold. Like I stated TLC is needed for the fee they are charging.

Catalina beach trip

I thought the condo was older than the pictures looked. When we first got there we saw that the half bath toilet was leaking we tried to turn the water off but that did not work I called maintenance and texted the agent. I was told Wednesday that someone would be out there asap. By Thursday no one had come. I called again and was told that someone would be there to fix it. For two days we had to keep changing out towels to keep the water from getting everywhere. Apparently this must have happened in this condo before because the master bathroom had missing shoe molding , water soaked molding and was dirty. The furniture in the living room was full of stains. We didn’t want to sit on it. Very dissatisfied with this rental and the time it took for someone to fix the toilet. I have pictures of the master bathroom and I sent them to the agent but got no response.The

Great experience!

We had a great stay in Cataline 709. The place was updated, clean and very spacious. There was construction in the building during our stay, but we knew this before we booked. The front room remote was a little finicky and took some time to finally get the TV off. Overall, a great experience.

We will return

Everything was fine except no parking pass which was taken care of with a phone call. There was no shampoo or conditioner as advertised but we used soap, no big deal.

Ok overall

The room was cleanish. The curtains going to the patio were covered in something red, food/blood. There was water damage to the ceiling in the living room, a hole in the bedroom wall and dust on the walls. The bathroom had what looked to be mold growing on the ceiling and baseboards, there was something on the bottom of the door and nose candy on the wall next to the light switch. The description says newly furnished and if it is they got it from marketplace, it is stained and very uncomfortable. If you sit for more than half an hr your back will be will be killing you. The dryer doesn’t work great, you will need to dry stuff twice but does work. The a/c is shared on the floor so if someone else is cooking fish you smell it in your unit. The bunk bed mattress was uncomfortable and the bunk itself needed wiped down. The main bed wasn’t too bad but not great. The floors, kitchen, tub and toilets were clean. It would be a great place to stay with a remodel. The grounds and shared areas were clean. The view was amazing. Overall we will stay again just not in this unit.

Oh my, such a disappointment

The grounds are beautiful but the condo needs lots of work. Many of the more recent reviews express how dated the condo is. If you love to cook the kitchen is very poorly apportioned. 4 spoons, no matching glasses, no can opener, one mixing bowl, utensils were plastic. Cheap pots and pan and 1980s small appliances. Coffee maker works every other time. Two clothes hangers in the small closet and one 1980s feeble dresser for storage . Broken hanging hooks and bathroom towel racks in both baths. The tile floors seemed to be wet or sweat. Pop corn ceilings with water stains and the cheap Walmart balcony furniture was sad. The living room furniture and pull out sofa were old and uncomfortable. The curtains had food stains and the blinds didn’t fit the windows in the master so the bright hall lights from the exterior hall flood in. This place needs a renovation. I’ve stayed in condos from Dauphin Island to Tampa and this condo needs help. There were several cheerleading groups booked there so the additional charges for arcade, extra pools etc were not used as they were too crowded. A loud party was disturbing one night requiring a call to security at 1 am. I’ll close with the beach and ocean views were beautiful and the spa was great. The grounds and pools are lovely.

Great trip

The condo was very clean and was ready for us when we got there. No contact check-in was great! Loved everything about the visit. There were a few things I would recommend changing such as black out curtains in the bedroom and having those hard plastic dishes. The dishes are mostly glass and heavy which makes them easy to break. Thanks for a great condo for us to stay in!

Room was not totally clean

Living room furniture looks dirty and felt run down open closet in the kitchen and floor was covered with dog food and container lid with a straw,the keruig coffee machine was not working properly and the walls in the bathroom and by the bunk beds looked like someone smeared something on them
