What a great place! Perfect for my extended family of 12, location was perfect. Easy to get to the center of town, check out the National Forest and get to other sites!

This property is really amazing. It is exactly as described but even better. The house has every comfort and luxury.My guests just loved staying here and the fact that all the rooms were ensuite was so important because it was a group of friends not family.Roger who managed the house was great and very responsive to any of our questions.He gave us a number of a driver who picked up my guests from Shannon and he was great.We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home for 8 Golfers wanting to stay ultra close to Killarney. Both Roger’s were very responsive. No issues at all. Would definitely stay here again.

We were traveling in a large family group and everyone in our group absolutely loved this house!!The house is large, clean and comfortable, and so close to the town of Killarney, as well as all of the activities in the National Park. We had space to spread out among the multiple bedrooms and there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Having parking on the driveway for multiple cars was also very helpful.This was our favorite stay while in Ireland.

We came to Killarney to attend a family wedding, and this property was fantastic for the 15 of us. It was so spacious and well appointed. There was everything we could have asked for. The yard was lovely for the kids to play in. The living room was comfortable, though the couch was almost too inviting it was hard to leave.The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we could have wanted and more. It was so nice to have hair dryers in every room.We would definitely stay again the next time we’re in Killarney.

My group of golfers all raved about this house. Plenty of space and great set up for 8 golfers. Had one minor issue get immediately addressed. Would book again!

Place is perfect for a visiting golf group. We had 8 comfortably in the house. The pictures of the common space doesn't do it justice. There's quite a bit more room than the pictures lead on. Location was great. Quick cab to the center of Killarney and a reasonable drive to all the major courses in Kerry County. We did Waterville, Ballybunion, Dooks, GC of Killarney, and Tralee. Highly recommend!

This was a very comfortable home with 6 bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. Communication was good. The kitchen was well appointed. Some will find the wood floor upstairs a bit annoying as they creak loudly with each step. The interior of the house was clean.

Great for our large group

Very suitable for our group of 5 couples - each of us with an ample bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Perfect location for our excursions to Skellig, Slea Head and golf at Dooks and Dingle. A doable 30 minute walk to Killarney town center.

Beautiful place near Killarney

Our family and family friends had a wonderful week here in Killarney! The accommodations were first class and Roger, the property manager, was as nice and helpful as they come. Great experience for our first stay in Ireland!!

This house was perfect for our group of eight golfers! It was spacious and comfy, well equipped and clean. We made use of the spa to dry off some of our golf stuff, and the location was pretty central to most of the courses we played. We also walked into town for dinner and drinks.

Delightful, well appointed home suitable for my family and grandchildren! Easy walk to town and the Cathedral through the park or along the road. Good selection of cuisine in Killarney these days. Markets, Tesco and Lidl, nearby too. Plenty to do and see/experience in Kerry from this home in Killarney.

Great for a large group stay

Fantastic property and location, exactly as per description. We were a group of 8 friends looking for a large house in Killarney and this was a great match for us. Good sized bedrooms and a large living and dining space. A short drive from the centre of town.

Second stay at this property

This was our group second stay at this house. We are group of 8 golfers playing in the Killarney area. The last time we stay was pre-Covid in 2019, they were going to redo all the bathrooms, and they came out great. Ever room has a shower, a double size living room, well stocked kitchen and laundry. I would recommend this place if you are golfing in the area. The on site property manager is great and quickly, address our only one small issue.

Great location for golf trip

Perfect for a 3-4 day golf vacation. We played 3 courses within an hours drive. A 5 minute drive to Killarney for dinner, drinks and entertainment. The house is in a neighborhood that is a bit hard to find. This house seems to be the best one. We did not cook in the unit, but seems to have everything you need, minus an ice maker. Perhaps a stand alone maker would be a nice addition. Nice backyard with a table. A farm in the backyard which offers a nice view from 2nd floor bedroom. Instant hot water. Steam and sauna, unfortunately no time for that. Good communications with owner and local guy. Suggestion, turn one of front formal rooms into game room with pool table.

Amazing house!

The Sanctuary was a fantastic house for our extended family trip to Ireland. Being together at the house really made this a memorable experience because we were able to hang out together. We had 16 people stay and we were able to entertain the larger family group here as well. The bedrooms were all very well appointed - comfortable beds, down pillows, great linens and each with their ensuite. Many enjoyed the spa room with the sauna and steam shower after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen was well equipped for entertaining and plenty of space for food and drinks between the multiple refrigerators. Roger was very helpful upon our arrival and helping us set up the grill. We had hired a motorcoach for our large group and didn't rent cars and Roger provided names for taxi drivers that were prompt and friendly and it was only 5-7 min ride into town - we probably could have walked. Gorgeous views out the back of the house and quiet lovely neighborhood. Loved staying here!

Great family reunion

We held a family reunion in July and we found this property perfect. Most of the families came from Ireland but we travelled from China. The open plan "American style" kitchen and living area were perfect for our families to gather together. We were sightseeing during the day and cooked in every night as we were such a large group. Close to town, the National park, the gap of Dunloe and a great area called high ropes with zip lines it was centrally located. The details such as the high quality mattresses and bed linens made for very comfortable sleeping. The property seemed brand new! We had the full 16pp but rearranged a bit so that our elderly mum could have her own room while some of kids slept on an air mattress we brought. It worked very well. We had a problem with the amazing tv and called the care taker who was over quickly to fix it. I highly recommend this property.

The Sanctuary is owned by three Seattle residents, two of whom are Irish born expats. Roger is from Killarney, Donny is from Mullingar, and Nate is from Cheboygan, Michigan. Their favorite golf courses in Killarney are Waterville and Killarney Golf Club.

We had been searching for a unique property in this area for some time, and once this one became available we knew it was what we were looking for.
