Palm Desert Stay

We had a miner problem with front door after our arrival. We were very pleased with the Owners prompt action to resolve the situation. The house was clean and neat. I think they should look at lowering the king bed in the master sweat as a shorter person needs a step stool to get in. It is a nice quiet neighborhood.

The house is well stocked with all necessities, convenient to Palm Desert shopping, and has a lovely private desert garden in back.

Quiet Vacation in the Oasis of Palm Desert Getaway!

The PD Getaway was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The house has everything you need and amenities were close but far enough away to not hear them. We loved the birds in the morning, nibbling on the grapes on the vines in the back yard. The completely private back yard is a little desert oasis with a beautiful water fountain. We loved the option of eating in and using the BBQ in the back yard too. We also used the community pool a couple of blocks away. We loved it. During the week days there were not very many people so we had the beautiful pool and hot tube all to ourselves!! What a treat! We also enjoyed nearby attractions like the tram that goes up over 8000 feet to Jacinto Mountain and then of course we loved going through Joshua Tree National Park with all rock climbing opportunities not to mention all the one of a kind Joshua Trees! Incredible! Just a 2 hour drive and you are in San Diego or Oceanside. We went to Oceanside because it's where we went on our honeymoon. Too bad we didn't know about the PD Getaway back then! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!

Very Satisfied Renter

This is a wonderful property that well suited the needs of my family. The owners were wonderful to work with and they made sure I had all the information needed before our stay. They also checked back with us once we arrived to make sure everything was in order. We arrived to a clean home and a fresh fruit basket with a lovely note wishing us a Merry Christmas and a wonderful stay. The house layout was perfect as our two boys were able to stay in the room with twin beds which was on the opposite side of the house from the master bedroom. This worked well as our boys were still on east coast time and waking up very early so they were able to play in their room without waking up their parents. The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable, soft yet firm enough to provide the support we both need. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking supplies, dishes, pots and pans necessary to serve meals. The dishwasher, washing machine and dryer were frequently used with no problems. The backyard was quiet and peaceful for a morning coffee. One of my sons really enjoyed the hammock. The location was perfect as it was only about a mile to the closest grocery store, drug store and gas station. Easy access to I-10 and CA-111. We would definitely stay here again should our travels bring us to Palm Desert.

A truly refreshing time

The entire home was clean, neat, tidy and very comfortable. It is located in a nice, quiet community that is close to shops, grocery stores, restaurants and a golf course, which makes it very convenient to walk or drive. If you didn't want to go anywhere you could just hang out and lounge in the private back yard. Since sleeping in the King Size bed my wife has been asking me to find out what make the bed was. It provided such a comfortable sleep she wants one. The owners were great to work with which contributed to our much needed rest.

Desert Oasis

Our stay was over the last two weeks of October 2015 and the weather was fantastic. When we arrived everything was as it was promised, including the instructions on how to enter the home! This property has all the amenities. Great kitchen for eating in. Extremely comfortable king size bed, not to mention a queen in the other room. Bathrooms are very nice. The living room is comfortable with a large screen tv with a wide range of channels. The backyard was very cool. It felt like you were in the desert (in a good way) with comfortable seating, outdoor pergola, relaxing fountain and a hammock. What a great place to unwind! Also included was the use of the Palm Desert CC pool and hot tub which was very nice and usually we had the place to ourselves! This property is well placed by everything we love in the Palm Springs area. The trails of La Quinta, Art Smith Trail, the Living Zoo and El Paseo Dr. We had a wonderful time and the owners we very easy to work with and accommodating!

Cozy comfortable home

We stayed in theis lovely home for the month of February/2015. The house was well stocked with all the necessities of home. The beds were very comfortable and our grandchildren loved the twin beds.The backyard is truly an "oasis in the desert". We loved to sit outside and enjoy the fountain and never-ending sunshine.It is very close to Washington Street which has lots of stores and restaurants. Cynthia was very easy to work with and Dennis is a fount of knowledge about this area where he grew up. We recommend this house to anyone who wants to have a relaxing holiday in the desert.

Great desert home close to just about everything

My wife and I stayed at this lovely 3 bdrm. home for 2 weeks in Jan. 2015 and were very pleased at the cleanliness and amenities that it had to offer. It was 5 to 10 minutes from great restaurants, golfing, churches and other amenities. The College of the Desert street fair on weekends was only 15 minutes away. We would highly recommend this home for couples with kids or for friends needing a 2 or 3 bedroom home.....there was lots of room. What we liked best was that it was centrally located from all the things we like to do when we go the desert in the winter.

Great get-away!

My husband and I spent a week at this great 'home away from home' for some R&R and it was perfect. For a small home, it is very spacious. Very clean inside and out. We didn't lack for anything! Close to many things, C.O.D. street fair, The River shopping complex, Joshua Tree National Park, Palm Springs....great restaurants, golf courses. A great find!

House Hunting Trip

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this quaint house in very convenient area of Palm Desert. Being close to Washington opened up much of the Desert to easy access. The home is well appointed warm and has a beautifully landscaped back yard that is enjoyable at night or while having your morning coffee.

Valentines get away

My husband and I had a wonderful get away in this adorable private home. This home is cozy, colorful, roomy, quiet, and comfortable, and one of the things we really appreciated, was feeling like we were in our home away from home. Everything was needed and wanted to participate in was so close and easily accessible. We would definitely enjoy coming back and telling our friends to visit here. Thank you for this home

My husband, Kevin grew up in the Palm Desert area but I grew up in the greater Seattle region. We have seen many changes in the desert through the years but it is still a great place to come and relax and enjoy the sunshine. We enjoy golfing, shopping (me) sharing great food with friends and neighbors and relaxing in our Palm Desert Home. We are seasonal owners and we love for others to enjoy our place when we aren't there. The backyard was designed by our brother Dennis who is a gifted artist and designer. We hope you enjoy the whimsical desert look we've created and that you will feel right at home!

When we are not at home or in Palm Desert we enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures. We love to hear people's life stories and believe that everyone has a story that needs to be told. We hope that your stay in our home will add to your own story and be a blessing!
