The hamlet of Weitendorf on the island of Poel is idyllically situated on the shores of Lake Kirchsee, about 1.5 km from the main village of Kirchdorf. You won’t find any mass tourism here. Silence reigns, interrupted only by the lively chirping of birds. In recent years, the island of Poel has strived to develop a form of sustainable tourism and has successfully achieved this. You won’t find any high-rises or tourist centers here. However, you won’t have to miss out on recreational activities on the island or in the surrounding area.

The vacation rental is located in a “Büdnerei,” which is a small Mecklenburg farmstead. In 2025, it was completely renovated and fitted with new flooring and a new kitchen.

This vacation rental features a living and kitchen area with a cozy, functional sofa (sleeping area 160 x 200 cm), a coffee table, two armchairs, satellite TV, and a separate dining table that seats up to 4 people. The kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner ceramic cooktop, a fridge-freezer combination, and a dishwasher. A coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle are provided, as well as dishes, pots, cutlery, etc. A washer-dryer is available in the utility room.

The bathroom (shower, sink, and toilet) is accessible directly from the bedroom. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (with adjustable headrest), nightstands, a shelf, and a closet.

You’re welcome to play table tennis in the garden, relax, have a barbecue, etc.

You can store your bicycle in the carport next to the house and park your car in front of the house.
