Great family Verbo

Firstly our host Jeff was always available to answer our questions. Air conditioning keep us cool after our excursions. Everything worked. We rented a 12 person boat and docked it in front of the house for 2days. This is a place that is perfect for large families with little kids and all ages. Lots of stairs if you have mobility issues. Great game room with access to the pool. We had so much family fun and got to bring our dogs. Walmart is 5 min away. For anything you need. Thanks Jeff!!! Remember if you are bringing family and kids this is the place.

Gorgeous home & wonderful stay!

This property is beautiful! Jeff is the best! Answered all our questions and kept us informed on everything throughout our stay! For the size of this property, we were amazed at all the amenities and provisions provided! Nothing was lacking. The views were amazing! Would consider renting again if we needed this size home again.

Beautiful home

There was a group of 10 of us for a 40 year reunion. We are a group that get together every two years to get caught up with each other on our lives and our families. We had a awesome time here and we love the home. Jeff was amazing on working with us if we had any problems with the home. The only downside we saw was that with a house this big that there should be more utensils and cookware for the kitchen. This is a place I would return to to enjoy a wonderful stay.

Great Family Vacation Spot

Was exactly as expected if not better, there were plenty of rooms to go around for our family and friends. Location is wonderful with close shopping and far enough away from the chaos of Laughlin, having the dock area off of the main river was great! We were here for 4th of July weekend and it remained calm. Jeff was very communicative and accommodating. We would absolutely come again.

Best Place on the River!

This is a great house for a group of couples! Everything has their own bathroom and nice, comfortable beds and the location is amazing with a view to die for! The pool and spa is all you imagine and downstairs is perfect for playing games, playing pool, ping pong etc! We loved this place and have already inquired for another date!! LOVED IT! Thanks so much!

Bullhead City

We enjoyed our stay at this Bullhead City house. The house was extremely spacious, the views were incredible and the game room was especially fun. The house was beautiful as well, but probably in need of some light updating. It would also help if it was a little more stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. The only downside of the whole set up would be the cleanliness. It wasn't horrible. However, I would definitely say that if you are one that is a super clean freak, it might not have been acceptable for you.

What an amazing property!

This property was breath taking and massive. Everything was pretty much self explanatory and Jeff was very thorough with the rules and the check in/check out process. There was just so much space and so unique. Kind of remind me of the properties in rocky point Mexico. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful and relaxing stay

This place was just as expected from its listing. My friends and I had a very easy time checking in and we had an amazing and relaxing stay. This property really helped make our weekend perfect.

Unexpected issues

Location was good. Had to get through some rough looking areas to get to the property. Pool and hot tub was a positive at the end of our days. Although the pool needed some upkeep. The garage was large enough for us to park all our cars. We did return one evening to find the garage door open. After texting the owner about it, he said “Ricky should have closed it after bringing in garbage cans”. Other observations…The entire property needs a deep cleaning, such as, under beds are disgusting- found this out by chasing a ping pong ball. Main refrigerator was dirty and smelled. The pantry food items were opened and outdated. The light fixtures were heavily soiled with dead bugs. Property has maintenance issues. Such as the ice maker didn’t work- did find one ice tray in another refrigerator, igniter on kitchen stove did not work properly. Kitchenware was old and heavily worn. We used paper products mostly because dishes were so chipped. Toilet in 2nd floor bedroom needed repaired. In spite of these issues, we enjoyed our time together with a great group of friends. Great big and luxury home on the river!

Great location on the river for view, relaxation, swimming and fishing. Everyone of us and specially the kids really enjoyed the pool as well. The owner Jeff (although didn't get a chance to meet him) but a great guy when speaking over the phone, very helpful in answering questions before and during our stay and very accommodating. Told my friends about the home and they too want to stay here. Will definitely want to stay at this home again. Thank you so much Jeff, Armen

Luxurious Stay in prime location

We loved our time at Jeffs house. Big group of two families. The dock fit our boat and two jet skis for the duration of the trip and the loading ramp is super close to the house. The marina area is a great place to float on tubes, kayak, and swim. A quick swim across the marina there is a sandy beach that the kids loved to play at. The pool overlooks the marina but the location of the house is right across from the entrance to the river, so you can also see boaters, going by. People float down the river in tubes as well. The extra refrigerators on the pool level were nice for drinks. There are two beverage fridges on pool level and two large fridges in the kitchen. Tons of lounging space on the kitchen level with two big sectionals. More bedrooms and bathrooms than we could possibly use! Ping pong and pool were enjoyed by the teenagers along with a bedroom in the basement where the action was. The upstairs master is the biggest bedroom Ive ever slept in. Everything was clean and comfortable. Jeff was very responsive to any questions. We boated down river an hour or so one day to Pirates Cove for lunch and swimming. Went a few miles down to the Avi casino and enjoyed their food court Thrify ice cream and great bay to swim in (with a public dock). And one day went north to see the casinos of Laughlin from the water. (no public docks there that we could find). Overall a great stay and felt lucky to find this desert oasis! Would highly recommend for families. Our four year old spent every waking second she could in the pool! Thanks Jeff!

Uncomfortable experience

I would like to go into more detail about ALL the experiences with this host, but I am under the impression I need to keep my review vague. Let us just say on our second day there, we spent 7 hours on the phone with the host, and VRBO as the mediator. At one point, the host said he would offer compensation for the day lost. A few days after the trip, we followed up the host (in VRBO) asking about the compensation. The host responds very vaguely in VRBO, but follows up by contacting us through personal calls or texts. I tried to contact him again through VRBO, and he followed up with a personal voice message. He is a totally different person from personal calls and VRBO. He said he would like to speak with us, but ended with, “….hopefully we can work something out peacefully here without getting attorneys involved or anything.” I am still in shock why he would ever suggest Attorneys. We followed up with a text and explained we just wanted the one day compensated for the day lost spent on the phone. He has not responded. Why would anybody need an attorney? We did not damage anything; all I have is my words? It seems like an intimidation tactic. Like I can’t leave a detailed review. So, I am leaving what I can prove. Also, It is very odd he won’t have the conversation in VRBO inbox where we booked the rental. He has added this to his page now, but he does have “security surveillance”. Also, he does make you sign “off-VRBO” contracts days before your trip. The contract that comes by text the DAY BEFORE your trip informs you of the 10pm curfew. You are not allowed outside after 10pm. My group ages were 40’s, you know adults. Isn’t that why you want to book a place on the river, so you can sit outside and enjoy the river as you wish? You have to approve (sign) this by text before he gives you the gate code for your trip the following day. The other contract he sent came 2 weeks before, where he informs you of the strict 14 people. Fine. But, wants each persons name and age. I just thought this was weird. He shouldn't be giving last minute contracts for you to sign 2 months after you have booked a No Refund trip through him. Should be full FULL DISCLOSURE. A serious safety concern, he has the front door sealed. It has a note on it that says "for your safety”. This is a fire safety concern, I have no idea why this is for “our safety" The only entrance is through the back, so god forbid a fire happens in the back... you are jumping from the balcony.

Family Honeymoon

We had a really good time. There were a lot of rules. I live in a gated community so I understand the need for rules. There was something for everyone. The age range of our group was from 8 to 74. Jeff was very easy to work with. We would go back again.

Spacious home for groups

We stayed for a month to escape the cold of PNW, and we thoroughly charmed by the sunsets and sunrises. with the inlet right in front of the home, views of the river and mountains are wide open from all 3 levels. Rooms were all spacious, and well appointed, if a little dark. Kitchen was fairly well stocked, but some items could use updating. This house has plenty of seating for dining and TV watching, but beginning to show their age. Pool was a treat, with some good weather to enjoy the view and sun. As an FYI, internet speeds are limited in this neighborhood to a max of 6mbps, so be aware if this is important. Plenty of parking, air conditioned garage, and lots of street parking. We fully enjoyed hanging with friends, cooking group meals, watching the Superbowl, playing games, and lounging in the sun. Close to all stores, and conveniently located near Laughlin. Great home to run to the sun!
