The Nook 5 Tiny House is a lovingly designed retreat by Green Tiny Houses, nestled in the heart of nature—located on the hillside of the Salemer See nature campground in the beautiful Duchy of Lauenburg near Hamburg. Whether you’re sitting on the terrace with a cup of coffee in the morning, gazing out at the lake through the trees, or watching the stars in the hammock under the roof in the evening—the Nook creates space for tranquility, inspiration, and true enjoyment.

With an interior floor area of 20 square meters and an additional 20 square meters of L-shaped terrace, this tiny house offers a surprising amount of space—ideal for couples, small families, friends, or solo travelers. The terrace is furnished with a table and four chairs, perfect for sharing breakfast in the morning sun or enjoying a long summer evening overlooking the lake. Inside, you’ll find a well-thought-out living space with plenty of clever storage compartments, high-quality hardwood floors, and premium furnishings. At the center of the open-concept living space is a large panoramic window that not only offers a view but also brings light and nature into the house. The cozy sofa in front of it can be pulled out into a 1.40-meter-wide day bed, serving as a sleeping area for two additional guests.

Right next to it is the compact, well-equipped L-shaped kitchen with two induction burners, a folding window leading to the patio, and a small counter for relaxed cooking sessions. A French press, toaster, kettle, dishes, silverware, pots, a pan, and many small details like salt, pepper, dish soap, and a cutting board make cooking easy and enjoyable. A small staircase leads to the sleeping area, which features a 1.40 m wide bed, a skylight, blackout curtains, and a view that showcases the lake here as well. The absolute highlight: From the bed, you step directly onto an airy hammock that hovers above the living area—a special experience for up to two people.

The bathroom is compact but well-equipped with a shower, toilet, sink with vanity cabinet, mirror, window, and cozy underfloor heating that you can conveniently control with a remote. In the living area, too, a modern air conditioning system ensures pleasant temperatures year-round—cooling or heating as needed. Additionally, there are fly screens on the door, electrical outlets throughout the house, and hot water. Sustainability and regional focus are at the heart of the Tiny House Nook: It was manufactured in Schleswig-Holstein, is built to promote healthy living, and the walls are insulated with natural sheep’s wool—a small window inside even gives you a glimpse into the construction.

Its location in the Duchy of Lauenburg is ideal for anyone who loves peace and nature and enjoys staying active. Right outside the door, beautiful hiking and biking trails wind through the rolling, water-rich landscape—past forests, meadows, small villages, and sparkling lakes. Canoeing or rowing on Lake Salemer and the surrounding waters is just as possible as extended exploration tours through the region. Nearby, you’ll also find charmingly run farm stands offering regional products—perfect for a spontaneous picnic or a home-cooked dinner in the Tiny House. You can conveniently pick up the keys at the campground during business hours, and you can park your car right next to the house.
