We spent the weekend with friends and their families, 6 adults and 6 children. The location is great and the size was perfect for us and our guests.
I also want to say that every person, including Ricky, who greeted us and all of the repairmen were great. However we had multiple issues during our stay. Upon arrival, we noted on the second floor that the inner pane of one of the windows facing the ocean was damaged. Thus we decided to make the first floor our main area. We discovered soon that the furnace on the first floor did not work. Although the immediate service was fast, it was not fixed by the time of our departure. After someone came to check the furnace, there was a gas smell in the house, that we were told was related to a knob in the oven on the 2nd floor and it had been fixed. However it continued to smell after, so we turned off the gas to the stove. To allow us to stay on the first floor, we were brought space heaters, which worked well until the fuse was blown. This required an electrician to fix. Basically, we abandoned the first floor for the entire stay and we were consistently communicating with management and repairmen.
The home and location had great potential, however the issues we ran into during our stay resulted in a less enjoyable vacation than we had hoped. Additionally, we have tried to communicate with the management company since our stay and they have been less than responsive.
