Our Black Forest House in the Kinzig Valley warmly welcomes you. Situated in a stunning, secluded location, this is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing vacation, nestled in the tranquil beauty of the Black Forest’s natural surroundings.

The interior combines rustic charm with modern style, blending elements from days gone by with today’s comforts. With over 110 m² of living space on a single level, the Black Forest House offers ample room for up to 12 people.
The sleeping areas consist of three double bedrooms and a shared room with three bunk beds, all handcrafted from locally sourced reclaimed wood.
For your daily comfort, there are two bathrooms with showers and toilets. In the central bathroom, a multifunctional wellness whirlpool provides additional relaxation.

The spacious kitchen with an open dining and living area is equipped with a modern Bora cooktop and offers everything you need for cooking. From cookware to appliances, everything is provided, just as you might be used to at home. If you have any special requests, please feel free to contact us in advance.
The Black Forest house is heated by a central heating system, and a wood-burning stove in the living area provides cozy warmth and a comfortable atmosphere.

The entire property is available exclusively to you and your group. You rent it from us as a self-catering home. For a relaxing stay, we recommend stocking up on groceries in advance, as the house is located about 10 minutes away at the far end of the idyllic valley.
This provides the perfect foundation for a peaceful and restful time in the Black Forest.

*The Location: Experience the Kinzig Valley in the Central Black Forest*

The Black Forest is located in southern Germany, between Freiburg and Stuttgart. If you drive down the valley from Freudenstadt or Offenburg, you’ll pass through the Kinzig Valley and arrive in a quiet side valley—that’s where our Black Forest house is located. After a drive through the forest, you’ll reach the secluded valley, where the meadow and forest begin right behind
the vacation home. Ideal for spontaneous
hikes, nature excursions, or mountain bike tours. On foot, you can hike to the Teisenkopf Tower, where you can enjoy the impressive natural scenery up close. Another attraction within easy reach is the Bear Park in Bad Rippoldsau—also easily accessible on foot.

Despite the quiet location, the surrounding towns of Schenkenzell, Schiltach, and Alpirsbach offer good amenities. There you’ll find bakeries, butcher shops, grocery stores such as Edeka, Lidl, or Norma, banks (Sparkasse and Volksbank), as well as restaurants and regional specialty shops.

*Travel Information*

We recommend traveling by car. Alternatively, public transportation such as buses and trains is available during your stay. From Schiltach, you can easily reach Freudenstadt (up the valley) and Offenburg (down the valley). The nearest bus stop and train station are about a ten-minute drive from the house. From there, both neighboring towns and other attractions are easily accessible.

A trip to Freudenstadt is well worth it! There you’ll find Germany’s largest market square—perfect for a leisurely stroll and a delicious ice cream at the Italian shop.
