Welcome to the Weidenkate—your lovingly furnished vacation home in the Baltic Sea resort of Damp! This Nordic-style log cabin was lovingly renovated in stages by its new owners in 2025 and offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation for up to four people in its 50 m² of space—whether you’re traveling with children, a dog, or both.


The house, situated in a quiet location within the vacation home community, is built at ground level and, with its bright living and dining area featuring large windows, a wood-burning stove, infrared heating, and Wi-Fi, invites you to relax and feel at home. The kitchen, equipped with modern appliances (built in 2022), offers everything you need for cooking or enjoying cozy breakfasts.


Two bedrooms—one with a double bed (180 × 200 cm), one with a bunk bed—as well as a tiled shower room are located in the separate rear section of the house.


A highlight is the large, fenced-in yard with a sunny patio—ideal for playing, running around, and relaxing. Up to two dogs are welcome. The dog-friendly beach on Südstrand is just a few minutes away.


Even without a four-legged friend, you won’t get bored: a short walk takes you to the guarded, fine-sand beach. The promenade, with its cafés, restaurants, and shops, as well as the marina, create a maritime atmosphere. Events are held regularly during the peak season.


The Baltic Sea resort of Damp offers numerous recreational activities: mini-golf, beach volleyball, bike rentals, water sports, playgrounds, the water park with slides, and the indoor playground “Funhalla.” Spa services—including massages, saunas, and therapeutic treatments—provide relaxation. A coin-operated laundry facility is also available.


The Weidenkate is an ideal starting point for excursions—for example, to Kappeln, Eckernförde, Schleswig, or even as far as Flensburg and Denmark. The surrounding area, with its Schleide villages and the Angeln and Schwansen countryside, is perfect for walks and bike rides.


The most convenient way to get here is by car (private parking space near the house). Alternatively, Damp can be reached by train to Eckernförde and then by bus.
The advance payment for utilities/security deposit of €150 is used to bill for electricity (€0.40/kWh) based on actual consumption. Any overpayment will be refunded.
