Beautiful Stay - Disappointing EndingWe spent a week and it was a peaceful and enjoyable. The location quiet, remote, and ideal for looking to unwind away from crowds. While it’s a bit far from shops, the calm and privacy make it worthwhile. Highlights Common garden was wonderful, peaceful, and well maintained. The pool was great and offered a refreshing escape. The rooms were spacious and new, comfortable mattresses and linens. The bathrooms were new too. Other guests were friendly and seemed to be seeking the same kind of quiet, relaxing getaway. Facilities The kitchen was oddly laid out but functional. The indoor dining area was small and quaint, and worked. The outdoor eating area assigned to our house, was not as nice and could use flowers and attention. The property listing should be more transparent. There is no living room, no television, and no air conditioning. The house stayed cool and comfortable without AC, so it wasn’t a problem—but it should still be clearly stated. Also, the owner lives on-site, which wasn’t mentioned and became a significant issue. The Disruption On August 15th, the owner's son hosted a party for friends. We were not informed, and the guests were intrusive, and helped themselves to our belongings. The peaceful atmosphere vanished. We felt uncomfortable enough to leave early. Very disappointing end to a lovely week.The lack of communication and transparency—particularly about the party - unacceptable.
